About This Competition
WINTER WARS is CrossFit Talisman's individual competition 21/22nd November 2026
Same sex pairs - Masters / Everyday / Intermediate / RX
*Masters combined age 75+
3-4 workouts for all divisions
*Minimum of 3 workouts for all divisions, including a floater or finale workout; full format TBA closer to the competition.
If you've ever been to one of our events before you'll know the atmosphere is always electric.
Spectator tickets are free so if you're not competing come on down and enjoy the festival vibes.
Division Guidelines & Standards:

All standards are a rough approximation of an appropriate level of skill, strength and capacity.
Our programmers always reserve the right to challenge you, regardless of division.
RX:
Deadlift @85-150/55-105kg
Barbell cycling @40-85/30-55kg
Dumbbells @22.5/15kg (1 or 2)
Kettlebells @24-32kg/16-24kg
Sandbags @30-50/50-75kg
Double-unders & pistol squats
Toes-to-bar, pull-ups, Chest-to-bar, ring & bar muscle-ups.
Expect synchro of movements of any skill.
Masters & Intermediate:
*Both divisions will be inclusive to intermediate level, while still offering a challenge to those at the top of these categories.
Deadlift @85-125/55-85kg
Barbell cycling @40-70/30-47.5kg
Dumbbells & Kettlebells @22.5/24kg & 15/16kg
Sandbags @30-40/50-60kg
Double-unders (in smaller volume than RX)
Toes-to-bar, pull-ups & Chest-to-bar
Expect Synchro of most basic movements and some lower-skilled movements (e.g. toes-to-bar or wall walk)
Everyday:
Deadlift @70-100/45-70kg
Barbell cycling @30-50/20-35kg
Dumbbells @15-22.5kg/10-15kg
Sandbags @30/50kg
Box jumps may be step-ups
Some hanging movements e.g. knee raises or pull-ups (only as a high-level skill at the end of a workout).
Partial Wall Walks
Expect Synchro of most basic movements.
