  • No other user can link or claim them

Personal Records (PRs)

Submitting, tracking, and verifying your personal best performances

PRs are your best performances on specific workouts. You can submit PRs for various movements and workouts, and the community votes to verify them.

To submit a PR:

  1. Go to PR Submit
  2. Select the workout classification and specific movement
  3. Enter your score and date achieved
  4. Optionally upload video proof

Different workouts have different score formats (weight, reps, time).

PRs are organized by classifications such as:

  • Strength
  • Gymnastics
  • Metabolic Conditioning

Each classification contains specific workouts you can submit scores for.

Official PRs: Have video proof verified through YouTube. These are ranked on the leaderboards.

Unofficial PRs: Have no video evidence. Not included in rankings.

An official PR is a peer reviewed PR that is eligible to be included in PR records, rankings and statistics. When a PR is initially added, it is an unofficial PR. After you save your PR, you then have the opportunity to add a video to the PR to enable peer review. Once a video is added, other KettleBoard members can vote on your PR classifying it as legit or not. After your PR receives at least 3 votes and it holds a positive voting score, it is an official PR.

Other users vote on your PRs that have video proof:

  • "Legit" (thumbs up): Confirms the PR is valid
  • "Sorry" (thumbs down): Questions the validity (requires an explanation)

Votes affect your PR's status and ranking.

Voting Power (0-5 scale) determines how much influence your votes have.

It's based on how many official PRs you have - more official PRs means stronger voting power.

Details

When you first create your account, your voting power is 0.5. Meaning that every vote you cast will increment that PRs score by +0.5 or -0.5. To increase your voting power you need to post your own PRs and get votes to make them official. Every official PR that you have will increase your voting power 0.5 up to a max of 5.0.

The value of your vote on a specific PR is saved at the voting power you have at that time. The vote will not be recalculated if your voting power changes later.

You can edit a PR if it has fewer than 3 votes.

You can delete any of your PRs at any time from the My PRs page.

After submitting a PR, you can:

  • Upload a video directly (which gets uploaded to YouTube)
  • Paste an existing YouTube link

Videos are required for a PR to become Official.

  • Official: Has verified video proof
  • Unofficial: No video proof yet
  • Under Review: Being evaluated by the community
  • Disputed: Has received significant negative votes

Rankings are based on score values for Official PRs only. Rankings are separated by gender (Men's/Women's divisions).
