About This Competition
The Butterfly Effect is a womens fitness competition for teams of 3.
This is a live Throwdown held on the 15th of September 2024 in Sydney. This event is a year on year sell out success so its important you are ready to register on March 8th 2024 to avoid disappointment.
We have 3 divisions that will be suitable for the novice athlete through to the most advanced.
For those that are lucky enough to be at the top of the leaderboard, prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division.
This is in proud support of the Butterfly Foundation with our aim to gain more awareness against negative body image and eating disorders by showcasing just what our bodies are capable of, rather than what they look like. Join us by celebrating with a fantastic show of fitness and fun!
The Butterfly Effect Throwdown will be donating $10 of all ticket sales to the Butterfly Foundation.

Please be advised that all ticket sales are non-refundable. Once a ticket is purchased, it cannot be refunded for any reason, including but not limited to the following: Change of Plans: Whether due to a scheduling conflict, personal circumstances, or any other reason, we are unable to accommodate requests for refunds or ticket exchanges.
Event Postponement: In the unlikely event that The Butterfly Effect Event is postponed, we will not be able to offer refunds. However, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate any changes to the event and provide relevant updates through our official channels.
Ticket Transfer: If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another individual or team. However, it is your responsibility to arrange the transfer and notify us of the change in ticket holder information.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but due to the nature of event planning and logistical considerations, we cannot offer refunds.

3 attempts per athlete working in order:
P1 – Establish a 3RM squat clean
P2 – Establish a 2RM squat clean
P3 – Establish a 1Rm squat clean
- Beginners can power clean
- Athletes can work in any order
- Call the reps and weight for your judge prior to your lift
- Weights cannot go down
- As many attempts as desired but only 2 failed attempts allowed
