In its 12th year, we are thrilled to announce that the stunning Osler Bluff Ski Club in The Blue Mountains will play host to the 2024 UG Games.
Event Highlights:
- Date: July 13th, 2024

- Format: Co-ed Teams of 4
Workouts and Registration Details:
- Registration opens on Feb 7th, 2024, and closes on June 16, 2024.
- In an effort to keep athletes training for the unknown, workouts will be unveiled after registration closes, in the weeks leading up to the competition.
- All athletes can expect 4 workouts on Saturday July 13th and should be prepared for the possibility of your first heat time starting at 9:00am.
- Team Registration Price $595 + tax.
What to Expect: Action packed weekend of functional fitness competition featuring four challenging and fun workouts, all meticulously designed by Mammoth Training Methods. As always we'll look to feature our outdoor venues to provide a truly "outside the box" competition experience!
For Spectators - It's Free! Join the excitement, bring your friends and family! Spectators enjoy FREE ACCESS to witness the incredible feats of fitness. Explore our fantastic vendors, indulge in shopping, savor delicious eats, and cheer for your favorite athletes. Between activities, set up tents or chairs in the parking lot behind the venue, or on the hill to watch over the competition floor.
Exclusive UG Food & Beverage Vendo: We're thrilled to announce our exclusive UG F&B vendor- Road Runner Food Co! They'll be fueling our athletes and spectators with a mouthwatering array of healthy and tasty food and beverage options. From morning coffee to celebratory beers, they'll have us covered!
Saturday Night Afterparty: For those looking for some social time with other like minded people, stick around, or come back to Osler Bluff's lodge for an afterparty and awareds.

Team Changes: You can change team members until June 16, 2024, but act fast to secure your team's custom-sized t-shirts.
Homebox Declaration: Declare your home box during registration to help you gyms chances of winning the annual "Top Box" prize. As always 1 volunteer = 1 athlete registered, so you can support your gyms attendance as a non-competitor. Thanks to our incredible partner Supra Athletique, last year $5,000 in gear was handed out to the gyms that had supported us the most. You cannot declare your home box after June 16, 2024.
Weather Ready: This is a rain or shine event! Be prepared for any weather changes. We reserve the right to adjust the schedule or workouts due to unexpected weather events.

Workouts
For Time: (20 minute CAP)
Each athlete runs two laps of course. Time is taken from a running clock.
Details:
On "GO" the heat will feature a mass start run, with all teammates traversing a two lap run course as fast as individually possible. After the first lap, athletes must check in with their judge to register their lap time, which will be used in case of DNFs in Lap 2 and for a Tiebreak results.
Time stops when the last team member crosses the finish line. The team’s score is the sum of each athlete’s time to complete two laps. The tiebreak is the fastest individual lap recorded on Lap 1.

In M/F pairs, athletes will proceed through 5 x 2 minute couplets completing synchro movements. Each couplet will feature Buy-In reps followed by an AMRAP in any remaining time in the 2-minute couplet. M1/F1 and M2/F2 will complete the couplets in the opposite sequence. M1/F1 will complete Buy-In reps of Movement A, followed by AMRAP of Movement B. In the next 2-minutes, M2/F2 will perform the same couplet but in the opposite sequence, Buy-In reps of Movement B and AMRAP of Movement A. AMRAP reps from all 5 rounds will be added to a total score. The tiebreak will be Round 1 M1/F1 AMRAP reps (Movement B).

On “Go” all four team members will approach and pick up the Worm. They will complete 15 Shoulder to Overhead. Once completed Team Member 1 will commence on the Sandbag Carry Loop. While this is occurring the other 3 Team Members will complete synchro lateral burpees over the Worm. The round completes when both the Loop Athlete and the Burpee Athletes complete the required work. All Team Members must complete one Sandbag Carry Loop. Time stops when the 4th Team Member returns to the Worm and the other Team Members have completed their synchro burpees. Tiebreak is reps.
Ski Lift
(Time Cap: 20 min)
On a 20 minute running clock, M/M and F/F pairs will alternate between accumulating Ski Erg calories and establishing heavy singles for the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. The Ski Erg will be continually in motion for the first 16 minutes of the event. On GO (0:00) F1/F2 will start on the Ski Erg then moving to the Snatch at the 4:00 mark. At the 4:00 mark M1/M2 will take over on the Ski Erg and follow F1/F2 through the workout. This pattern will continue until both pairs have accumulated calories for two separate rounds, and established both a max Snatch and Clean & Jerk. This workout will have two scores with equal weighting. Score 1: Cumulative Load (of heaviest recorded lifts by each athlete) and Score 2: total Ski Erg calories over 16 minutes.
