About This Competition

2022 FITC COMBINE # 7 - FARM FITNESS, ESSEX

We are excited to head back to Farm Fitness in 2022, following some incredible comps and Training Days over the past few years.

The Turf Games Pairs COMBINE is a pairs competition where athletes will compete in 4 back to back workouts across a 'COMBINE', testing various aspects of their fitness in a fun, fast paced, competition style format. The top ranked teams from each event will qualify for FINALS DAY in December '22.

DATES + TIMES

Saturday 6th August from 11.00am

The 'COMBINE' will be a PAIRS competition, with 3 categories

  • Male (M/M)
  • Female (F/F)
  • Mixed (M/F)

There will be two Divisions of competition -

  • Open Athletes
  • Elite Athletes

The first heat will start at 11.00am, with the last heat starting at 16.14pm.

Your heat start time will be provided to you minimum one week before the event. You will not be required for the full duration of the afternoon. You will complete 4 x 10 minute time capped workouts with a 6 minute break in between each workout - taking a total 58 minutes. For example, if your start time is 2pm - workout 1 will be 2pm, workout 2 - 2.16pm, workout 3 - 2.32pm and workout 4 - 2.48pm. You should arrive minimum 30 minutes before your heat start time to warm up and get ready to hit the TURF. You can leave once your heat is finished (but please do hang around if you can). If you win, you will be notified via email/Instagram

COST

Entry - The cost is £90 per pair (£45/athlete). All Athletes will receive product from our partners for athletes, plus food vendors live leaderboard and DJ on site ensuring the atmosphere is perfect for you to compete at your best and have fun surrounded by the amazing Scotland fitness community.

Any weight or movements that we stipulate (like DBs, KBs etc) will be appropriate to that level - see below link for guidance and more information on the format including example workouts. Each workout will be judged and will have scores on our LIVE! Leaderboard. By the end of the day, winners will be crowned across each of the categories above and they will represent Manchester at our FINALS DAY in December '22.
