BATTLE ON THE AIRFIELD 2022 is a 2-person (MM/FF) CrossFit Team Competition for athletes of all skill levels.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Athlete substitution accepted up until event day, by having your new athlete sign your team waiver prior to start of event.

- Partner A will take off on a 400m run with their dumbbell while Partner B begins on thrusters
- Partners will switch when Partner A completes the 400m run
- Partner A will resume where Partner B left off on the rounds and reps
- Repeat process until 15 minutes are complete
- Advanced athletes will begin rope climbs seated but may use their feet to control the descend
- Scaled athletes must begin rope climbs standing – no jumping
- All athletes will have to step down from the box- no rebound
- Scaled athletes may modify box jumps to step up if desired

EVENT 2: BURNING LADDER - 10 MIN TIME CAP
ALTERNATE BETWEEN
DESENDING 10 TO 1 WALL WALKS

ASCENDING 1 TO 10 HANG CLEANS
ADVANCED (175LBS / 125LBS)

- Partners will begin on their set of 10 wall walks, tagging in and out as they please with one athlete working at a time
- Both partners must complete a minimum of one rep per movement each round (besides round of 1)
- After 10 wall walks are completed. Athletes will move on to the set of 1 hang cleans, the 9 wall walks, 2 hang cleans, and so forth
- Hang cleans may be performed between high hang and just above the knee
- The bar must be deadlifted off the ground to high hang and just above the knee
- Barbell must be put on the ground before partners may switch off
MENS: 60” FROM THE WALL, WOMENS: 55” FROM THE WALL (BOTH 10” FROM WALL) - Scaled will walk up the wall until hands fully cross the first line.
- Advanced will walk up until both hands touch the 10” line.
- Chest and thighs must touch the ground at the start of each rep.
EVENT 3: LADDER UP - 2MINS PER ROUND - 6 ROUNDS
WOMEN’S SCALED : 65LB
WOMEN’S ADVANCED : 105LB
MEN’S SCALED : 75LB
MEN’S ADVANCED : 125LB
- Partners will have two minutes per weight to perform one snatch each
- Each partner has 2 attempts to complete the snatch
- Should one partner complete the movement, and one fail, the partner that fails will begin max-rep deadlifts until the 2 mins are up
- The partner who successfully snatched the barbell will move onto the next weight of the ladder
- Should the athlete complete the weight, the partner who previously failed will immediately perform max-rep deadlifts until the 2 mins are over once again
- Should the athlete fail 2 attempts at the new weight, both partners will then switch off as they please on the mar-rep deadlifts
- Should the athlete fail 2 attempts at the new weight, both partners will then switch off as they please on the max-rep deadlifts,
- The team will not advance to the next round once both partners fail both attempts
- SCORED FOR TOTAL COMBINED SNATCH WEIGHT - TIE BREAKER # DEADLIFTS ACCUMULATED
