About This Competition
Yankee Crossfits 4th Annual Beat the Heat is back and this year we have added a masters division! Each athlete is guaranteed 3 works outs with the top athletes making the 4th and final workout. We will have lots of great vendors and food, and of course DJ Noodles will be spinning beats all day long! Wods will be release at the end of July. Women should be comfortable with a barbell weight of 95# for RX and 65# Scaled. Men should be comfortable with a barbell weight of 135# for RX and 95# for Scaled.

7 minutes to establish a heavy complex of:
1 clean + 2 hang squat cleans
For Time:
Run 800 meters
21 Chest to Bar Pull-ups
15 Power Snatch – 135/95
9 Thrusters – 135/95
Masters: 115/75, regular pull-ups
Scaled: 95/65, jumping chest to bar pull-ups
AMRAP 8 min
15 Wall Balls* – 20/14
15 Burpees to Plate – 45#
30 Double Unders
*Wall balls are to a 10ft/9ft target for all divisions
Masters: same as RX above
Scaled: Wall balls are 14/10; 60 single unders
