Fittest on Turf
About This Competition
FITTEST ON TURF is the ultimate summer showcase of athleticism, determination, and grit. Since 2014, this high-energy event has brought together all fitness levels across the midwest in a one day test of strength, endurance, and grit and this year will be our BIGGEST yet!
Whether you are a seasoned competitor or a newcomer to the fitness space, this is one event you don’t want to miss. Join us for the highly anticipated Fittest On Turf June 22 in Austin, MN.
Athletes will be tested over the course of 4 stages:
1. Strength - It's time to load the barebell and life some weight! This stage is all about getting heavy!
2. Power - How much work can you complete in a designated amount of time? You're about to find out in stage two!
3. Endurance - How's your cardio? Stage three is all about pacing and seeing how well you can handle longer bouts of effort.
4. Grit - Hold nothing back as you leave it all out on the turf in the final stage. Let's see what you're made of!
Event Flow:
From start to finish, Individuals and Teams of 3 will complete 4 stages over the course of 4 hours testing their strength, power, endurance, and grit.
At the designated start time, athletes will enter the turf beginning inside the warm-up zone and will then progress through the 4 different stages separated by recovery and refuel stations until completion. Each stage will be scored separately and an overall score will be given to each individual/team and the top score will earn the title of Fittest on Turf.

Cleans may be a power or squat variation
Jerk can be a push jerk or split jerk
Athletes must pre-determine their weight on the flip chart before they begin the lift
