About This Competition
Welcome to our annual pairs comp located in Long Jetty on the NSW Central Coast.
This year we will be running Open and Advanced divisions in both MM and FF teams.
You can expect a fun, challenging day of events including workouts both inside and outside the gym.

Workouts

1000-2000m Wet and Dry sand run together
X Synchro Burpees over hurdle

Clean and Jerk Ladder
Each team will roll through round 1 in their respective heats and divisions. Once all heats in that division have completed round 1, the bottom third will be eliminated and the rest will move on to round 2. The same will happen after round 2 and the top 4 teams will face off in round 3.
Each round will work as follows:
-both partners will start behind a line behind their barbells
-partner 1 will race through, completing a clean and jerk at each load (2 reps at bar 1 for rounds 1 and 2)
-once the last bar is complete they will run back over their barbells and tag partner 2 who will do the same
-the teams time is when partner 2 completes their clean and jerk on the final bar
-if both partners do not complete the full ladder, a score will be recorded for the completed barbells with the tie break time being when partner 1 completes the ladder.
*lifts to be counted must be complete BEFORE the clock runs out
*you must only move OVER your barbells, running around will be a 5 second time penalty
*barbells will be approximately 1.5m apart and you must stay within this box, stepping outside will constitute a failed lift
*you can not advance onto the next bar unless a successful lift is complete.
*partner 2 can not start unless partner 1 completes all bars

Part A) Max Echo Bike Calories
Part B) Max Distance Handstand Walk
There is no minimum work requirement for each team member. You can swap between the handstand walk and bike calories as often as you like. Handstand walk must be completed in minimum 2m increments.
*Open divisions will complete max distance Dumbbell front rack walking lunge using one dumbbell. 15kg for females, 22.5kg for males.
