Rx -> Starting the first minute with 5 reps, increasing every minute with 1 rep.

Int -> Starting the first minute with 3 reps, increasing every minute with 1 rep.

Sca -> Starting the first minute with 1 rep, increasing every minute with 1 rep.

WORKOUT FLOW

The workout starts with both athletes next to the worm. On the count of 3-2-1 GO the athletes may pick up the worm and perform their assigned reps. In the remaining time of that minute, athletes can rest. In the next minute, the assigned number of reps is increased by one rep. Teams will continue in this fashion until they fail to achieve the assigned reps.

Your score is the amount of completed reps during this entire workout.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS

WORM SQUAT

Each rep begins with the worm on the shoulders. All teammates squat down simultaneously until below parallel (hip crease below the knee) and stand back up making sure knee and hips are fully extended.

WORKOUT FLOW

The workout starts with both athletes at the starting position. On the count of 3-2-1 GO the athletes may run to the line and start their 30 sync burpees over the line. Once the 30 reps are completed, both athletes may continue to the rig and perform their 60 gymnastic reps. After completion, both athletes perform 30 sync DB Snatches. After completing the set of dumbbell snatches, the athletes move their dumbbells to the next section pointed by the judge. After this, their set of rope jumps must be completed. Athletes complete this sequence for 25 minutes and perform as many reps as possible.

All reps may be divided as they please except for the DB Snatches and burpees.

Score is the total amount of reps made in 25 minutes. Note that there is a tiebreak time after completing each round. In case two teams have the same score, the athlete with the fastest tiebreak time ends up above the other athlete.

STANDARDS

SYNCHRONIZED DUMBBELL SNATCH

The movement starts with the dumbbell with one head in contact with the floor. The athlete moves the dumbbell in one fluent motion to an overhead position in which the dumbbell is clearly over the middle of the athlete’s body. The arms, hips and knees must be fully locked out. The non-lifting hand and arm may not be in contact with the body during the whole movement. Reps do not need to be done alternating. Synchronization points are at the floor and in the overhead position.

SYNCHRONIZED BURPEES OVER THE LINE

The movement starts with the athletes standing tall facing the line. They lie down on the floor, hands behind the line, with chest and thighs touching the floor, then stepping, jumping onto both feet before the line. Then both athletes step over the line for the rep to count. Synchronization points are with all chests and thighs touching the floor at the same time.

SINGLE & DOUBLE UNDERS

The movement starts with the jump rope on the floor. The athlete grabs the jump rope and jumps over the rope while the rope passes the athlete once (single under) or twice (double under). The athlete needs to jump with both feet at the same time. If the athlete steps on the rope, this is a no-rep. Double unders do not count as reps for single unders at all.

KNEE RAISES

The movement starts with the athlete hanging from the rig, with elbows fully extended and both feet behind the vertical plane of the pull-up rig. The athlete swings his knees up in front of the body, until the top of the knees are clearly above the hips. This may be done strict or kipping as long as all standards are met and no other parts of the body than the hands touch the rig.

PULL-UPS

The movement starts with the athlete hanging from the rig, with elbows fully extended and both feet behind the vertical plane of the pull-up rig. The athlete moves their body up until the chin is clearly above the pull-up bar. This may be done strict, kipping or butterfly as long as all standards are met and no other parts of the body than the hands touch the rig.

CHEST TO BAR PULL-UPS

The movement starts with the athlete hanging from the rig, with elbows fully extended and both feet behind the vertical plane of the pull-up rig. The athlete moves their body up until the chest below the collarbone is clearly touching the pull-up bar. This may be done strict, kipping or butterfly as long as all standards are met and no other parts of the body than the hands touch the rig.
