About This Competition

Exclusively Masters Competition.  MM, FF, and for the first times Mixed Teams.  Look for RX and Scaled Versions.  There will also be (combined age, minimum 35 by day of event) 75 and over divisions, as well as 90 and over divisions. 

A lot will depend on who signs up for what, but our goal is to have the scaled divisions get in first starting at 8:05 and be done by 11:30am (subject to change but we will be on time when we give you the final schedule/heats.) RX Divisions will start by 12noon with the goal of ending by 330 in the afternoon.  Canopies wont be necessary as we are limiting the amount of teams to 48 total with a goal of approx 6-10'ish per division.  

We will allow substitutes up until day of with signed waiver and of course qualifying in age.  

We will commit to doing our absolute best to run a fun organized on time well judged event.  No Refunds, good sportsmanship, safe workout areas and a fun attitude are the standard.  After all we're doing an event called "Old Dirty Masters" Have fun and do your best!!!

Workouts

AMRAP 7 (followed by 1 min rest/reset, followed by next 7min wod)

-30 Double Unders (scaled/90+ mixed may do DUs or 90 Singles)

-20 Barbell Squats 115/75(scaled/90+ 85/55, Mixed will share a 95lbs)

-10 Toes to Bar (Scaled/90+ or Mixed may do T2B or 20 Hanging Knee Raises)

 

75+RX will hold and belimited to the higher standard of movements.

All other Divisions may opt for either or.  However like in The CrossFit Open, the teams who opts for the more challenging movement will get the better score if there is a tie in Reps.

Double Unders 3 to 1 ratio, Toes to Bar 2 to 1 Ratio.

Barbell Squats are Athletes Choice between, Backsquats, Front Squats, Zurcher Squats or Over Head Squats.  All will be worth the same play to your strengths and be safe!

AMRAP 7

5 Ground to Over Head 115/75 (Scaled/90+ 75/55, Mixed Share 95lbs)

3 Burpees Over Bar (75+RX catch air, scaled/90+/mixed may step over)

1 Bar Muscle up (Scaled/90+ or Mixed may opt for BMUs, 5 Pull ups or 10 Ring Rows)

 

-Ground to Overhead = Power Snatch or Power Clean N jerk/Press (reps count the same either movement)

-75+RX may do BMUs or Pull ups but in the event of a tie the team that opts for BMU will get the tie breaker.  5 to 1 ratio.

Scaled/90+ and Mixed have all 3 options, ratios listed above 1-5-10.  In the event of a tie the team that opts for the more challenging movement will win the tie.

Athlete B Farmer Carries 25' every 25 feet is 1 rep.

(Switch whenever)

RX 50s/35s

Scaled/Super Masters 35s/20s

Mixed Teams Share 1 of each 40/25 (you'll carry 1 of each weight in whatever hand or order you choose)

1 Deadlift

1 Clean (squat or power, touch n go)

1 Hang Clean (squat or power)

1 Front Squat

 

as long as the last lift is off the ground by the end of the clock the lift will count,

(Score is combined load, tie breaker will be heaviest of the 2 lifts)
