About This Competition

CFCP Presents: The Monster Mash!

Substitutes: You will be elegible to sub any athlete out (even on the day if you need to) in the case of illness / injury! We would still prefer for you to find a sub so you are able to throwdown.  If a substitute is unable to be found, your entry is non-refundable. 

Workout Release Dates: Workouts will be released prior to the event date and at a range of different times.  Movement standards will be released to all athletes prior to live registration.

Event Purpose: 4 simple workouts with some grassroots Crossfit style events.  A day where everyone can throwdown and have fun with their buddies! 

Parking and Other Information: All athletes will be informed about these details via email 2 days prior to the event

Both athletes will approach their DB and perform their 10 synchro DB snatches. They will then move onto their 10 synchro Lunges (OH for RX, Front rack for INT). The reps on the Box Jump Overs will be shared. The same format will follow until the 30 box jump overs are completed. In the remainder of the time, athletes will get through as many calories on the rower as possible. Athletes may tag in and out of the rower at any time. 

 

EMOM 8

1 Clean + 1 Hang Clean + 1 Jerk

 

Alternating attempts with your partner.

1 attempt per minute

Your choice of power or squat clean along with your choice of push or split jerk.

Your score will be the combined top lifts from each athlete.

Max HSPU (1 Ab Mat)

 

On 3 - 2 - 1 - GO

Player 1 will complete a 1 Wall Walk before then player 2 will complete their Wall Walk.

The team will go 1 for 1 until all required Wall Walks are complete.

In the remaining time you will complete as many HSPU (strict or kipping)

No minimum work requirement for the HSPU

30 thrusters (50/35kg)

60 toes to bar 

200 crossover single unders

20 thrusters (60/40kg)

40 chest to bar pull ups

100 double unders

10 thrusters (70/45kg)

20 bar muscle ups 

 

INT

300 single undres

30 thrusters (40/25kg)

30 toes to bar 

200 crossover single unders

20 thrusters (50/30kg)

20 pull ups

100 double unders

10 thrusters (60/35kg)

10 chest to bar pull ups

 

All work is shared between athletes. No minimum work requirement.

10 Synchro Bar Facing Burpees

On 3 - 2 - 1 - GO

Both partners will start their synchro deadlifts (sync at the top) followed by the 10 synchro BFB (sync with both athletes chest / hips / thighs touching the ground)
