GGRx focuses on community over competition; celebrating and lifting each other up. When you get women together, it is all about empowering each other and supporting each other.
Compete for a Cure- this event benefits the breast cancer charity called Compete for a Cure.
As part of the event, your team will get the opportunity to create a fundraising page! Fundraising is also part of your overall event score (how freaking fun)

Which Division is Right for your Team?
Rx Division ::
Your team performs daily WODs without scaling or modifying. You can efficiently do movements like pull-ups, double unders, & handstand pushups. You are confident with a barbell and can do full Squat Snatches and/or full Squat Clean at or above 95lbs.
BAM Division (Badass In the Making) ::
Athletes that are new to the competition scene or beginners. Needs to do modifications in most WODs, new to olympic lifting, and newer to functional fitness. Typically, this would be your first or possibly second competition.
After your team registers, you will receive a unique referral link to share! If 3 teams use your unique referral link, your team spot will be FREE!!! That's right, bring ALL of your friends.

For Time:

*Ring Muscle-Ups = Accumulate reps as group
Alt DB Snatch, Wall Balls, Toe to Bar = 2 Partners Working Synchronized, 1 Resting
Time Cap: 20:00

RX Note
-At 3-2-1 Go, the athletes will proceed to the to the Ring Muscle-Ups station and perform 10 reps. Any athlete can perform the 10 reps.
-The athletes will move to the Wall Balls where they will complete 40 synhcro reps. A synchro rep is credited when both athletes reach the depth of the squat (hip crease below parallel) at the same time. The Wall Ball may hit the target at a different time, but will still be credited a rep as long as the athletes hit the bottom of the squat in synchro fashion.
-The athletes will move to the Alt DB Snatch where they will complete 40 reps alternating hands, but must reach extension at the same point as their partner for a rep to be credited..
-The athletes will then proceed through the Synchro Pull-Ups where they will work to complete 60 reps. A rep is credited when both of the athletes chins crest above the plane of the pull-up bar at the same time.
-The athlets will move back through the chipper accumulating reps in the same fashion they did on the way out.
-Score is total time or total reps at the time cap.
For all synchro movements, only 2 athletes are working at a time.
BAM Note
-At 3-2-1 Go, the athletes will proceed to the to the Wall Walk station and perform 20 total reps betwen all 3 partners
-The athletes will move to the Wall Balls where they will complete 40 synchro reps. A synchro rep is credited when both athletes reach the depth of the squat (hip crease below parallel) at the same time. The Wall Ball may hit the target at a different time, but will still be credited a rep as long as the athletes hit the bottom of the squat in synchro fashion.
-The athletes will move to the Alt DB Snatch where they will complete 40 reps alternating hands, but must reach extension at the same point as their partner for a rep to be credited.
-The athletes will then proceed through the Synchro Jumping Pull-Ups where they will work to complete 60 reps. A rep is credited when the athletes both have their chins reach above the plane of the pull-up bar.

-Score is total time or total reps at the time cap.

Rx:
This workout is performed as 3 quick sprints in a relay format. Partner 1 completes the first set as fast as possible and will run back to tag partner 2. Partner 2 will then complete their working set as fast as possible before running back and tagging partner 3 who will complete their working set as fast as possible. Time is will be marked once the final shoulder to overhead is done and the 3rd partner is back at the starting mat.
BAM:
This workout is performed as 3 quick sprints in a relay format. Partner 1 completes the first set as fast as possible and will run back to tag partner 2. Partner 2 will then complete their working set as fast as possible before running back and tagging partner 3 who will complete their working set as fast as possible. Time is will be marked once the final Cal Row is done and the 3rd partner is back at the starting mat.
Partner 1: 5RM Front Squat from the Floor
Partner 2: 3RM Hang Squat Clean
Partner 3: 1RM Squat Clean

- Athletes will have 8:00 to Work through all 3 lifts.
- The bar will start unloaded. Once the time starts athletes can start to load the bar.
- Only one athlete can record a max for each lift.
- Athletes must declare the weight prior to performing their max lift. There are no set maximum attempts at a max.
- Time Clock Lifts- The lift must be started at the 8:00 mark. This means that the bar must be off the floor at the 8:00 mark, but can be completed after the 8:00 mark.

RX Note
The partner on the Deadlifts and Lateral Burpees over the Bar is the rabbit. Once the reps are completed partners much switch stations. The other two partners will be working on accumulating synchro Toe to Bar reps. The partners can rotate in any fashion they want, but must have each partner rotate onto the Deadlifts and Lateral Burpee station at least once. If the 75 Toe to Bar is completed before the 10:00 mark, partners will rotate on the Deadlifts and Lateral Burpees accumulating as many rounds and reps as possible in the remaining time of 10:00.
