About This Competition
"Same sex 3s" competition for Scaled athletes!
Venue - CrossFit Cheltenham
- 3 WODs for all teams. The team with the least points over 3 WODs wins.
- NO QUALIFIERS.
- Enjoy a great competition at a friendly box run by an events team with ten years experience of running successful team events.
£120 per team

The WODs will be released before the Throwdown.
Prizes for all podium finishers.
This event is child and dog friendly, so bring your friends and family along!
Spectators can come and cheer you on for free!
There will be plenty of space to park in the industrial estate where the box is located.

Workouts
Part A
Complete as many reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
Check in - 400m run with both dumbbells
Then AMRAP in remaining time:
30 Sync dumbbell goblet squats / lunges
30 Sync dumbbell shoulder to overhead
30 Sync dumbbell box step overs
30 Pull ups / assisted pull ups
2 Athletes working on the sync movements
Part B
Max load - Teams choose dumbbell weights and are scored on the total weight
If either dumbbell touches the floor or box during the 15 minutes there is a 1 sync burpee penalty for the whole team.
Predator Series Intermediate Same Sex Threes WOD 1
Part A
Complete as many reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
Check in - 400m run with both dumbbells
Then AMRAP in remaining time:

Predator Series Scaled Same Sex Threes WOD 2
Lift as much weight as possible in 3 rounds on the following clean ladder:
Men 45-50-55-60-65-70-75-80kg
Women 30 - 35 - 37.5 - 40 - 42.5 - 47.5 - 50 - 52.5kg
Time cap - 4:30
Teams will have 8 barbells increasing in weight. At the call of 3-2-1-GO one athlete will enter the ladder at the start and lift the bar from the floor to a front rack position using any type of clean (muscle, power or squat clean).
If successful, they proceed to the next barbell in the ladder. Each bar can only be successfully lifted once by each athlete on their way up the ladder. When they reach the end of the ladder the next athlete begins their turn as the first athlete returns to the start. If an athlete fails a weight they shout to the next athlete to begin or they can choose to re-attempt. Teams will not get extra points for multiple lifts of the same barbell.
This pattern continues for 3 rounds (each athlete goes on the ladder 3 times in turn) if they don’t hit the time cap.
The team score is the total amount of weight lifted by all three athletes. If two teams are on the same score the tie-breaker is the time they finished the 3 rounds in.

Complete the following for time:
50 Sync hang to overhead 35/25kg (2 Working)
100 Single unders while a member of the team is lifted by another
50 Toes to chest height while another member holds a partial wall walk
15 Sync burpees (3 Working)
1 Sync box step up
Time cap - 8 minutes
Part A
Complete as many reps as possible in 15 minutes of:
Check in - 400m run with both dumbbells
