The Backland Games
About This Competition
Join us for The Backland Games, hosted by CrossFit Backland & partnering with HillerFit. This is a two day competition, including one outdoor field day (near Downers Grove, IL) and one indoor CrossFit style day (at CrossFit Backland in Downers Grove, IL). This is unlike other events out there and will be an awesome opportunity to test your fitness in a competitive, fun environment (Did someone say trail run & sandbags?).

ELITE DIVISION
$12,000 prize purse for the Elite Division
-$3,000 to 1st place (Both M/M & F/F)
-$2,000 to 2nd place (Both M/M & F/F)
-$1,000 to 3rd place (Both M/M & F/F)
-4th & 5th place Elite teams will receive podium prize swag bags
RX DIVISION
1st - 3rd place teams will receive AWESOME podium prize swag bags.

Workout #1: Beyond the Trees
For Time:
1200m Trail Run (Together)
100 DB Push Press (Split)

Workout #2: Get Wild- 2017 Regionals Finale Reboot
For Time
Partner 1:
30/24 Cal Echo Bike (Rx: 21/16 Cal)
20 Burpees Over Log (Rx:15 Reps)
Partner 1 & 2:
20 SB Over Yoke (175/125) (Rx: 18 Reps @ 150/100)
Partner 2:
20 Burpees Over Log (Rx:15 Reps)
30/24 Cal Echo Bike (Rx: 21/16 Cal)
(12 Minute Time Cap)
Notes:
-Yolk height: 48 inches for Men; 40 inches for Women
-Sandbag weight: Elite is 175/125; Rx is 150/100

Workout #3: Into Thin Air
8 x 2 min. intervals with a :10 transition between:
18/16 Cal. Row (Rx: 16/14 Cal. Row)
12 Box Jump Overs (30/24)
Max Reps (Elite: BMU) (RX: C2B)
*Partners alternate intervals; repeat until 80/60 BMU or until the final interval is complete.
*RX= Repeat until 100/80 C2B are complete

Workout #4: Between a Rock & a Hard Place
For Time & Load:
On a 10 min clock...
Part A:
50 Synchro T2B

Part B:
Max Snatch w/ time remaining
*RX- 60 T2B split, 1 partner works while other partner hangs from rig
Notes:
-Partners will share the same barbell when building to 1RM Snatch
-Toes-to-bar time and total combined snatch weight are each scored as separate events
