About This Competition

Welcome to our Online Throwdown!

Thank you all for February’s it was our first one and we are back with another one!!! This one is for April Here's what you need to know!  We are keeping the two divisions, - Men's and Women's RX, Men's and Women's Athletes. 

Men's and Women's RX - If you have been doing CrossFit for a minimum of 1 /2 years. Have some of the movements down, Know what a burpee is, and can do them.

Men's and Women's Athletes - This is for our advanced CrossFitters, weight and movements are never a question. You welcome a challenge and can do all CrossFit moments with little to no issue - it's time to send it!

Cost:

3 dollars - Yes, you read that right! it's 3 USD dollars, might as well have your gym/friends sign up at this point as well! It's cheaper than a cup of coffee!

Location:

We are opening this up for both online and local, you can do this workout in the comfort of your home gym, local gym, or even drop into Awareness CrossFit (Morgan Hill) to do a workout. (Ask for Riki or Eric or Email us)

Scoring:

There are two ways to submit your scores.

1) Video proof - Open standard or

2) A Judge - counting the reps for you.

Tie break will be the time you get to the cleans.

WODProof would be the ideal choice of the app but as long as there is a clock in the video and we can easily count your reps, then this should be fine. 

Prizes and sign up

Yes, Yes, and Yes! there will be prizes for our first place winners in both divisions. Huge thanks Rob over at Max Muscle in Morgan hill for setting these prizes up. There are goodie bags for our first 20 sign-ups!

Workouts

5 min AMRAP:

Floor start (You are sitting on the ground back to the bar, on 3,2,1 go you stand up to do your bar hops)

30 Bar Hops / Jumps - (Both feet must clear the barbell)

15 Inverted Burpees 

25 Bar Hops / Jumps - (Both feet must clear the barbell)

Max Hang Clean and Jerks - Score is Max Clean and Jerk

RX Division

        Men's RX 75lb Barbell - RX Athletes

        Women's RX 55lb Barbell - RX Athletes

Athlete Division:

       Men's Athletes 95lb Barbell - Division Athletes

       Women's Athletes 65lb Barbell - Division Athletes
