Test Your Metal is the region's biggest, best, and longest-running functional fitness competition, hosted every July by Test Your Metal Fitness & Performance of Easton, PA!



Masters athletes: all masters partners go into the division corresponding to the younger of the two athletes.

Workouts

Floater WOD 

*When signing in for the event, you will be asked to pick a time to complete a floater WOD. 

Athletes will each decide which movement they will complete for max reps during their 30 seconds. Once the athlete picks that movement, they must stick with it the whole time. Athletes will pick their movement and their score will be the total reps, multiplied by the amount of points for that movement. (ie. If athlete picks Bar Muscle Ups and completes 10 reps, their score will be 50 points)


3 minutes Total - RX/SC/MA Division

Partner 1 (0:00 - 0:30) - Bar Muscle Ups (5 points) , Pull-ups (3 points) , Ring Rows (1 point)

​Partner 2 (0:30 - 1:00) - Bar Muscle Ups (5 points) , Pull-ups (3 points) , Ring Rows(1 point)

Partner 1 (1:00 - 1:30) - Toes to Bar (5 points) , Toes to Ring (3 points) , Knee Raises (1 point)

Partner 2 (1:30 - 2:00) - Toes to Bar (5 points) , Toes to Ring (3 points) , Knee Raises (1 point)

Partner 1 (2:00 - 2:30) - Overhead Squats (95/65) (5 points) , Front Squats (95/65) (3 points) , Air Squats (1 point) *

Partner 2 (2:30 - 3:00) - Overhead Squats (95/65) (5 points) , Front Squats (95/65) (3 points) , Air Squats (1 point) *

*Slam ball underneath all athletes to hit depth

**Score is total amount of reps combined. 


Iron - 2012 WOD - 8 minute AMRAP


Alternating movements, complete as many rounds as possible of: 

9 ALT Goblet Lunges - RX/MA 40-44 (50/35) | SC/MA 45-49 (35/20) | MA 50+ (25/15)
6 Box Jump Overs - RX/MA 40-44 (24/20) | SC/MA 45-49 & MA 50+ : Step-ups (24/20)
3 Sandbag Over Shoulder - RX/MA 40-44 (150/100) | SC/MA 45-49 (100/70) | MA 50+ (70/40)
200m run TOGETHER

Lead - 2017 WOD - 8 minute AMRAP


Buy - In : Total of 120 Doubles / 360 Singles 

Then, 

50 BB Thrusters - RX/ MA 40-44 (75/55) | SC/MA 45-49 (65/45) | MA 50+ (45/35)

40 Assault Bike Calories **Tie Break Time

30 American Kettlebell Swings - RX (2 / 1.5) | SC/MA 40-44 (1.5 / 1) | MA 45-49 (1/25) | MA 50+ (25/15)

20 Toes to Bar - RX/MA 40-44 (Toes to Bar) | SC/MA 45-49/MA 50+ (Knee Raises)

Steel - 2011/2012 WOD - 8 minute AMRAP


One round is: 

10 Unbroken Hang Power Cleans - RX/MA 40-44 (135 / 95) | SC/MA 45-49 (95 / 65) | MA 50+ (75/55)

10 Handstand Push-Ups (RX/MA 40-44) | Hand Release Push-ups (SC/MA 45-49/MA 50+)

Sled Push - RX (135 / 90) | SC/MA 40-44 (115 / 75) | MA 44-49 (90 / 60) | MA50+ (70 / 45)


Partner 1 does HPC and HSPU, then pushes sled to Partner 2. Partner 2 pushes the sled back and completes HPC and HSPU then pushes sled back to Partner 1. Continue until 8 minutes is complete. 
*Hang Power Cleans must be unbroken. If you drop, you start the reps over. 


*Tie Break Time is after two rounds are complete.

*Score is total reps.
