About This Competition
Unbound Athletic
Presents: Unbound & Unleashed
This is a Team of 4 event (2 Males and 2 Females) consisting of 4 WODs, held on Saturday the 8th of October 2022.
The day will consist of 4 Events. Workouts will be released 9 Days prior to the day, we will be running 3 divisions Rx, Intermediate & Masters.
Entry is
$280 per Intermediate & Masters 40+
$280 for RX team
($1000 - 1st Place $500 - 2nd)
Registrations open 24/07/2022 - 12pm.
Unbound & Unleashed is an event for Intermediate, Masters(40+) & RX Athletes, below is some guidance on what is to be expected of each division.
We will look to split the event up running a morning block for
Intermediate 7-1 pm
Afternoon:
Rx and masters - 2.00-6 pm
These standards are no indication of intended workouts. They are only to be used as guidance when selecting your division. Divison changes are allowed until 5 days out.
Intermediate & Masters -
Competency through most movements with moderate capacity.
Clean & Jerks 60/40kg
Power Snatch 40/30kg
Kipping Pull-ups (3-5)
Wall Balls 9ft (parallel squat at worst)
RX-
Excellent knowledge and competency through all movements. Prepared (and able) to take on the more technical movements and heavier weights. Can complete most Benchmark workouts to standard, Rx 90% of affiliate programming and either be a quarterfinal or bubble, quarterfinal athlete.
Cleans 70/50kg (exception of strength tests)
Snatch 60/40kg (exception of strength tests)
Wall Balls 10/10ft
4-7 Chest to Bar
6-12 Toes to Bar
3-7 Strict HSPU
1-3 Ring muscle ups
1-3 Bar muscle ups
Masters 40+ - This division may have slightly altered movement weights and complexity for each workout, Refer to open 2021 masters expectations for a guide.
Workouts & Standards
All movements and standards will be outlined.? Each WOD offers different levels of movement and/or weight. The competitor will choose at registration which level to complete the workout. This rewards strengths exposes weaknesses and enables everyone to compete at a level that is challenging for them.
All workouts and movements standards will be released in the week prior to the event.
Briefing:
Competition Briefing will be posted as Video recordings to the event page. At 7:30pm on Friday Night, coaches will monitor the comments to answer any questions you may have regarding the workouts and the standards.
Waivers:
Waivers are to be filled out before the day, spares will be around on the day.

FAQ’s
Warming Up
There will be a warm-up area for your convenience. There will be equipment for you to use during your warm-up, but if you have specific warm-up needs, you will need to bring those items with you.
Parking
Our parking lot is going to be reserved for vendors and utilized for the workouts and a warm-up area throughout the day so you will be unable to park in the venue. There is plenty of parking on Flinders Parade.
Spectators
You are welcome to bring as many spectators with you as you would like and we will have room for you to set up tents, chairs, tables, etc. for your convenience. During the competition the building will be reserved for athletes and spectators only, so your belongings will need to be placed outside.
Food & Drink
There will be food and drink options available to be purchased on the day.

B) Accumulate max Echo calories
* every 2minutes the pair must switch, once the chipper is completed all 4 athletes may continue accumulating calories on the echo bike
* Pair A and Pair B can switch amongst themselves as often as they like, the mm & ff pair will rotate every 2 minutes continuing on. You can start the pairs as you see fit.
1:00 on / 1:00 off x4 sets
Set 1 - Max reps @60/35kg
Set 2 - Max reps @70/45kg
Set 3 - Max reps @80/50kg
Set 4 - Max reps @90/55kg
Males and Females working on Opposite minutes
* You may change your bar during your rest minutes, bar will also be preloaded to set 1 weights.
* You will have a male and female bar
3 rounds for a total time of:
40 Single Unders (unbroken)
5 Snatches 40/30
Set Every 4 Minutes
* 12minute cap
* Can be power or squat snatch
* If you trip on the single under you will need to start the set again.
* You cannot change single unders to double unders, if you want to do more complex movements we have spots in Rx :)

* Shuttle is 7.5 up & 7.5m return = 1
* Shuttle will be 2 feet over + 1 hand touch on turn arounds
* Hand may be used to assist you getting over the box
* Must meet in the bottom together on the burpee, may be out of sync on the transition over the box & off the floor.
