About This Competition
SITREP (N) - A REPORT ON THE CURRENT MILITARY SITUATION IN A PARTICULAR AREA
SIT REP IS A PLATFORM TO BRING AWARENESS TO SITUATIONS THAT CHALLENGE VETERANS AND PIT-BULL TYPE DOGS.
SADLY, WE LOSE ONE ACTIVE SOLDIER A DAY DUE TO WAR, BUT WE LOSE ON AVERAGE OF 20 VETERANS A DAY TO SUICIDE. IT'S ALSO ESTIMATED THAT OVER 1.2 MILLION DOGS ARE KILLED IN SHELTERS ANNUALLY, MOST OF THEM PIT BULL TYPE DOGS.
THESE NUMBERS ARE UNACCEPTABLE.
What:
An online fitness competition to raise awareness and funds to benefit veterans and bully breed dogs.
Where:
Participate from anywhere! You can do this workout from your CrossFit box, home gym, globo-gym or on base!
Why:
Sit Rep is a joint-operation from Barbells For Bullies and VETWOD to benefit organizations that pull shelter dogs and trains them up to be service or therapy dogs for veterans.

August 11-16 (opens 12AM 8/11 and closes 12AM 8/17)

Grand prize is a crossover symmetry kit to the top overall score (regardless of gender). Video needed to validate prize eligible scores. Top three male and females will receive assorted swag from VETWOD and B4B.

Workouts
Our challenge has only one simple, but not easy, challenge.
A death-by workout is as follows:
Minute 1: 1 burpee (Fitness division does body weight. RX division uses a weight vest or body armor 20/14)
Minute 2: 2 burpees
Minute 3: 3 burpees
Minute 4: 4 burpees
Minute 5: 5 burpees
Minute 6: 6 burpees
Continue until you cannot complete the number of reps within the minute.
Your score entered will be the last round you successfully completed. For example, if you make it through 11 burpees but do not complete 12 burpees in the 12th minute, your score will be 11.
