Turku Tuomiopäivä 2026 Qualifier
About This Competition
Summer’s coolest sports festival is here again - crown your summer with a challenge!
The CrossFit licensed competition Turku Tuomiopäivä is held in Turku, Finland from June 11th to the 13th, 2026.
The Elite division (20+20) will start the competition on Thursday and compete until Saturday (11.-13.6.2026). The RX-division will compete on Friday and Saturday (12.-13.6.2026).
Finland’s fittest man Jonne Koski has planned our exciting events this year, as always. If you want to challenge yourself in a competition that has gotten a lot of positive feedback about how everything runs smoothly, athletes are treated well and the schedule is on point, Turku Tuomiopäivä is your place to be.
This year both Elite- and RX division’s competitors will be chosen through a two week qualifier.
The qualification period lasts two weeks: the qualifier starts on Monday, March 30th at 10:00 AM (UTC+3) and ends on Sunday, April 12th, 2026 at 10:00 PM (UTC+3).
The qualifying events will be announced at the start of the qualifier and they will be the same for both divisions.
More details and the Turku Tuomiopäivä 2026 Rulebook will be published before the qualifier.
ELITE DIVISION
At the end of the qualifier 15 best men and women (15+15) will claim their place in the onsite competition. Also there will be 5+5 competitors invited to the Elite division. In the main event there will be a cash prize (prize purse 14000€) for the three best athletes in the Elite-division.
RX DIVISION
The athletes ranked 16th to 55th (40 women and 40 men) will claim their place in the onsite competition.
Once the qualifier has concluded (on Sunday, April 12th 10pm UTC+03:00) and the leaderboard is finalized, event organizers will send out invitations to the onsite event in Turku in June. Any eligible athlete wishing to participate must accept their invitation and register for the Final before the announced duedate. Turku Tuomiopäivä is applying Turku Tuomiopäivä 2026 Rulebook.
All advancing athletes will be asked to submit videos of all test performances for review. All videos submitted for review must adhere to the video submission guidelines provided.

AMRAP 15 minutes:

WORKOUT FLOW
Workout 1 is a 15-min AMRAP of double unders, wall ball shots and burpee box jump overs.
The athlete starts the workout standing next to the jump rope. After the call of "Go," the athlete picks up their jump rope and performs 60 double unders. After completing the double unders, the athlete moves to the wall ball and performs 30 wall ball shots to target. Once the wall ball reps are completed, the athlete heads to the box and performs 15 burpee box jump overs.
The athlete continues with this rep scheme until the 15-minute time cap.
Athlete’s score will be the total number of reps completed in 15 minutes.

WORKOUT FLOW
Turku Tuomiopäivä 2026 Qualifier Workout 2 is an 8-minute AMRAP of power cleans and toes-to-bars, with an ascending rep scheme.
The distance between the barbell and the pull up bar must be at least 1,5 m. Distance is marked by a tape, and the barbell must stay behind the taped line during the entire workout.
The athlete starts the workout standing behind the barbell.
After the call of "Go," the athlete performs 2 power cleans, followed by 4 toes-to-bars. In the next round, 4 power cleans followed by 8 toes-to-bars. The number of power cleans increases by 2 reps each round, and the number of toes-to-bars increases by 4 reps each round. This pattern continues for the full 8 minutes.
Athlete’s score from workout 2 will be the total number of completed reps within the 8-minute time cap.

WORKOUT FLOW
Turku Tuomiopäivä 2026 Qualifier Workout 3 is a chipper of handstand push-ups, rowing, and overhead squats.
The athlete starts the workout standing tall, facing the wall. After the call of "Go," the athlete performs 25 handstand push-ups, followed by 25 calories on the rower, 25 overhead squats, and finishes with another 25 calories on the rower.
Athlete’s score from workout 3 will be the total time to complete all the reps or the number of reps completed within the 7-minute time cap.
