Master & Teens Throwdown - Online Qualifiers 2022
About This Competition
The Masters & Teens Throwdown Qualifier is an online competition that will be held at your own box, gym no matter where in the world.
Bringing together both Teens and Masters athletes in one throwdown is unique and adds an extra level to the competition!
During the online Qualifiers, you have 17 full days, including 3 weekends, to complete 3 workouts.
- Each workout will test different elements of fitness.
- Anyone can join, from anywhere in the world!
- As long as you are a Teen (aged 12-21) or Masters athlete (aged 35+) ofcourse ;-)
The best of the best athletes qualify to our live Finals in the Netherlands, on 3 & 4 September.

Qualifiers
Friday 10 June 07:00hrs until Sunday 26 June 23:59hrs (CET)
- Rx'd competition, with scaled options: all prescribed workouts are accompanied by a scaled version
- The workouts need to be completed during the prescribed period
- Each workout can be performed & logged as often as you like
- The logged score at the time the deadline passes, is the final score that determines your ranking
- Please note that video submittance is required to validate your scores. Detailed instructions & floorplans will be provided.
- Any missing videos and/or scores is the athletes responsibility. M&TTD will not allow any athletes to Finals with missing videos or scores, as per the Rulebook.
Finals
Saturday 3 - Sunday 4 September 2022
The best of each age category will receive a personal invitation by email to compete at our live event, at a thrilling location near Amersfoort.
All athletes will compete 2 days, no cut off.
We do not underestimate your age and fitness and neither should you!
Age divisions
Teens: 12-13 / 14-15 / 16-17 / 18-19 / 20-21
Masters: 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65+
Your age on 4 September 2022 determines the age category you will participate in.
For example:
Masters 40 – 44, you must be minimum 40 to maximum 44 years old before/on 4 September 2022 to participate in this age category.
Pricing & Refund Policy
- Online Qualifiers €25 (excl. service costs)
- RX'd Finals Ticket €59 (excl. service costs), including Finalist T-shirt
- If the Finals need to be cancelled, due to lockdown or government restrictions, we will hold an RX'd online Finals competition on the same dates
- The registration fee is non-refundable. All proceeds will go towards supporting future M&TTD events

In short:
- Athletes must register here, via Competition Corner
- Athletes must complete three online qualifier workouts, submit a validated score and a video for each online qualifier
- Equipment list, detailed floorplan & movement standards will be provided nearer the time.
- Unofficial leaderboard: Monday 27 June 00:00hrs
- Officlal leaderboard: Saturday 9 July 10:00hrs
- 12 Finalists per age group
- The M&TTD Team reserves the right to combine age groups when too little athletes have entered the competition for these age groups
- The M&TTD Team reserves the right to disqualify an athlete based on their own reviewal process, should they find any violation of the rules stated or any violation of sportsmanship.
- Decisions of the Team are final and cannot be discuted. Performances of athletes will not be discussed with other athletes.
- There is no limit to the amount of athletes who can participate in the qualifiers.
- Registration remains open until the deadline of the qualifiers
