About This Competition

 

WheelWOD Games Regional Qualifiers

April 27nd - May 4th WheelWOD.com will be holding Qualifiers for this Summers WheelWOD Games at UG GAMES presented by Reebok in Collingwood On. Canada. July 5th-9th 2018. Over 1000 athletes compete in www.Ugseries.com

There will be 5 Qualifying WODs released on Friday April 27th at 12:00pm EST and you will have until Friday May 4th 11:00 pm EST to submit.

All Submissions will be video and must be to standards to qualify (no exceptions)

Registration will Open April 12th 2018 at 6am EST until April 27th 12:00pm EST

Cost to register is Free. 

The top 6 of ech division will qualify for WheelWOD Games

Workouts

WheelWOD Games Qualifier 

WOD 1:

5 Min AMRAP 

Box Clean & Press

Male: 95lbs

Female: 45lbs

Lifts will be made from Boxes with bar set up no more then a maximum clearance of Three (3) inches above the lap.

Reps will be scored:

Clean = 1 Rep

Press = 1 Rep

Clean & Press is 2 movements and will score as 2 reps.

Total reps at the end of 5 minutes will be final score.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

No Tie Breaker

Please be sure to watch the entire workout instruction video for details. One round includes a clean and a jerk. You must complete the clean before moving on to the jerk and you must complete the jerk before moving on to the next clean. If you miss a jerk you may power clean the bar to set up your jerk attempt. For Time:

Complete the following reps of

15-12-9

Power Snatch

Knee Burpee

Feamle Weight: 35lbs

If unable to complete the workout inside the 12 min cap

1 second will be added to 12:00 minutes for every remaining rep not completed. 

Example: at the 12 minute cap I still have 9 knee burpees remaining.. my score would be 12:09

Please be sure to watch the entire workout instruction video for details.  You must complete the full snatch reps before moving on to the burpee and you must complete the burpees before moving back to the snatch.  You will enter your result by the final time on the cloack when you complete the last burpee in the round of 9. WOD 3:

On a 15 minute Clock

For Max Reps

10 Shoulder to Overhead

100 Battle Ropes swings

8 Shoulder to Overhead

80 Battle rope swings

6 Shoulder to Overhead

60 Battle Rope swings

4 Shoulder to Overhead

40 Battle Ropes swings

2 Shoulder to Overhead

Max Rep Battle Rope swings

 

Male: 85lbs

Female: 35lbs

Reps will be scored:

1 rep for every single swing of the battle rope.

Total reps at the end of 15 minutes will be final score.

Once the athlete completes the final 2 SH2OH the athlete will complete as many battle rope swings as possible until the 15 minutes expires.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Tie Breaker:

The tie breaker will be the time you finish your final 100 battle rope. ( the completion of the first set of BR in the workout)

Please be sure to watch the entire workout instruction video for details.  You must complete the Sh2Oh before moving on to the Battle Rope and you must complete the Battle ropes before moving on to the next SH2OH. If you miss a SH2OH you may power clean the bar just from the lap to set up your SH2Oh attempt. You will enter your result by the number of reps completed. 30 Wall Balls 

1000m Row

30 Wall Balls

Time Cap:13 minutes

 

Weights:

Male: 20lbs @ 8ft

Female 14lbs @ 6ft

If unable to complete the workout inside the  13 min cap

1 second will be added to 13:00 minutes for every remaining rep not completed. 

Example: at the 13 minute cap I still have 9 Wallballs remaining.. my score would be 13:09

From 10:00 to 12:00 minutes

AMRAP 

Athlete from floor will complete as many reps as possible of:

Legless Rope climbs

.

Weights & Heights:

Male: 50lbs dumbells & 10ft Rope climbs

Female: 35lbs dumbbells & 7ft Rope climbs

.

Reps will be scored:

12 reps every round 

Rope climbs will be 1 rep per every successful climb

Total reps at the end of 12 minutes will be final score.

Once the athlete completes the first 8 minutes after 2 minutes of rest  the athlete will complete as many rope climbs as possible until the 12 minutes expires.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Tie Breaker:

The tie breaker will be the time you finish your second rope climb. If you don't complete your 2nd rope climb your time will be 12:00 minutes.

Single Arm Athletes (SAA): will be identified as athletes using only 1 point of contact on the bar.

Single Leg Athletes (SLA): will be identified as athletes with no existent or non functioning knee. Example: Above knee amputees or fused knee athletes are SLA and Below Knee or BK athletes are not eligible for SLA weights.

Lifts will be made from the floor at the start of each rep.

Reps will be scored:

Clean = 1 Rep

Press = 1 Rep

Clean & jerk is 2 movements and will score as 2 reps.

Total reps at the end of 5 minutes will be final score.

Single Arm Athletes (SAA): will be identified as athletes using only 1 point of contact on the bar.

Single Leg Athletes (SLA): will be identified as athletes with no existent or non functioning knee. Example: Above knee amputees or fused knee athletes are SLA and Below Knee or BK athletes are not eligible for SLA weights.

Weights:

Male: 135lbs

Male SLA & SAA: 100lbs

Female: 85lbs

Female SLA & SAA: 65lbs

Reps will be scored:

1 rep for every Double Under.

1 rep for every Truster

Total reps at the end of 15 minutes will be final score.

Once the athlete completes the final 2 Thrusters the athlete will complete as many Triple-Unders as possible until the 15 minutes expires.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Tie Breaker:

The tie breaker will be the time you finish your 50th DU. (the completion of the first set of DU in the workout)

If you miss a Thruster you may power clean the bar just from the hang to set up your Thruster attempt. You will enter your result by the number of reps completed. Single Leg Athletes (SLA): will be identified as athletes with no existent or non functioning knee. Example: Above knee amputees or fused knee athletes are SLA and Below Knee or BK athletes are not eligible for SLA weights.

1 second will be added to 10:00 minutes for every remaining rep not completed.

Female SAA Dead Lift 120lbs

Heights:

M:15 foot height

 

F: 10 foot height 

 

Notes:

Lower athletes may squat to box & deadlift of 4 inch platforms
