STANDARDS:
ADULTS - Division Selection Guidelines for Mayhem in Montana 2023
Intent: To help you select the most appropriate division in our competition. Although this list is NOT exhaustive in the modalities that may show up, it should serve as enough information to guide you.
Clean and Jerk
Rx: 225/155 for 1RM and multiple reps 185/125
Intermediate: 185/125 for 1RM and multiple reps 135/95
Scaled: 135/95 for 1RM and multiple reps 95/65
Snatch
Rx: 185/125 for 1RM and multiple reps at 135/95
Intermediate: 135/95 for 1RM and multiple reps at 105/75
Scaled: 95/65 for 1RM and multiple reps at 75/55
Pressing Gymnastics
Rx: Strict HSPU for lower volume (at least low-mid single digit sets) and kipping HSPU at higher volume (double digit sets)
Intermediate: Kipping HSPU at lower volume (at least low-mid single digit sets) and Wall Walks
Scaled: Partial Wall Walks
Pulling Gymnastics
Rx: Bar MU at lower volume (at least low-mid single digit sets) and C2B/T2B at higher volume (double digit sets)
Intermediate: C2B/T2B at lower volume (at least low-mid single digit sets) and chin-over bar at higher volume (double digit sets)
Scaled: Chin-over bar pull-ups at low volume at least are recommended but NOT required. Low ring rows will be an option but at a high cost for reps
Jump Rope
Rx: Proficiency with double unders in workouts
Intermediate: Consistently able to perform sets of >10 unbroken Double Unders in a workout
Scaled: Proficiency with single unders in workouts
***There will be movements in Mayhem in Montana 2023 that are NOT listed above. And not all of the movements above will necessarily be in Mayhem in Montana 2023***

Rx Teens: 135/95 for 1RM and multiple reps 95/65
Scaled Teens: 95/65 for a 1RM and multiple reps at 65/45
Snatch
Rx Teens: 95/65 for 1RM and multiple reps at 75/55
Scaled Teens: 75/55 for 1RM and multiple reps at 55/35
Pressing Gymnastics
Rx Teens: Kipping HSPU at lower volume (at least low-mid single digit sets) and Wall Walks

For Time, Shared Burden:
Rx: 60 Strict Handstand Push-ups
Intermediate: 60 Handstand Push-ups (Kipping allowed but not required)
Scaled: 60 Partial Wall Walks
***Flow: 1 partner working at a time on the handstand movement. Anytime a partner comes off the wall for Rx/Intermediate, 2x25’ Sled Pull shared however you want. For scaled, every 5 partial wall walks you must complete the 2x25’ Sled Pull shared however you want.***

In Remaining Time (Part B): Each Partner find a 1RM Snatch beyond the final weight. If you are unable to get a weight higher than the final metcon weight, then your score will be the heaviest weight successfully lifted by each partner in the metcon.
Snatch Weights
Rx: 95-135-185/65-95-125
Intermediate: 75-95-135/55-65-95
Scaled:45-75-95/35-55-65
Cap: 20 min (10 min EACH)

In Remaining Time (Part B): Each Partner find a 1RM Snatch beyond the final weight, which is added together for 1 score. If you are unable to get a weight higher than the final metcon weight, then your score will be the heaviest weight successfully lifted by each partner in the metcon.

Tiebreak: Time for each partner to complete the first round weight.

Flow: Partner 1 completes the 3 round, descending couplet in its entirety before partner 2. Then partner 2 completes the 3 round, descending couplet in its entirety starting from the highest number again.
