About This Competition

Welcome to Southpaw's Green Beret Challenge!

We are thrilled you want to attend our event benefitting the Green Beret Foundation. For the Elite and Rx Divisions, there is a cash prize for the top performers! Information regarding the competition date, workouts and divisions can all be found on our landing page. From here, you can also register to compete or judge/volunteer, view leaderboards and more!

Please arrive early enough to warm-up and familiarize yourself with the course layout. Check-in and rucksack weigh-in starts at 8 am. ALL athletes must complete the rucksack weigh in. Competition starts at 9 am!

Workouts

Female athletes will have a 50 lb rucksack. Must be completed in boots and pants.

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 100 push ups - no rucksack

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 100 sit ups - no rucksack

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 50 rucksack swings

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 50 rucksack devils press

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 200 feet rucksack low crawls pushing the rucksack out in front of you

  • 800 meter ruck/run to finish

Male athletes will have a 60 lb rucksack. Must be completed in boots and pants.

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 100 push ups - no rucksack

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 100 sit ups - no rucksack

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 50 rucksack swings

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 50 rucksack devils press

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 800 meter ruck/run

  • 50 swings then 30 devils press

  • 800 meter ruck/run
