Welcome to the BOE 2024 qualifiers!
Below are guidelines for this year’s qualifiers. To secure your spot at the Battle, please follow the instructions provided. Good luck, athletes!
VIDEO SUBMISSION STANDARDS -
Prior to starting, film the pull-up bar, plates, and barbell to be used so the loads can be seen clearly.
All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to display the performance accurately.
A clock or timer with the running workout time clearly visible should be in the frame throughout the entire workout (do not use a countdown timer).
Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards.
Avoid placing the camera low on the ground. We recommend placing the camera at least 3 ft (90 cm) off the ground.
Videos shot with a fisheye lens or similar lens may be rejected due to the visual distortion these lenses cause.
Ensure the judge does not obstruct the view of the athlete.
Athletes must always face the camera.
Athletes' reps that are not facing the camera will not be counted.
What a judge cannot see cannot be evaluated and therefore is a no-rep.
Do not use a cloud platform to upload your video (Drive, iCloud, Dropbox..). These will not be considered. The only link considered will be the one uploaded on Youtube or a similar platform where the initial upload date is shown.
