About This Competition

We're back for our 5th year to bring athletes a fierce (but friendly) team competition south of the river! Teams will consist of a pair of same-gender (MM and FF) athletes that can choose to compete in either Scaled or RX Divisions. Teams will be put to the test over a series of workouts to determine who gets to duke it out in the final battle.

All Divisions
Unbroken Lift Complex - Clean --> 2 front Squats --> Hang Clean

Complex begins with the barbell + weights resting on the floor.  Athlete will then approach and clean anyway and finishing the clean at full lockout.

Athletes will then perform two front squats with each lift starting with a decent from full lockout, meeting or exceeding full depth, and then returning to full lockout.

Athletes will then finish by performing a hang clean anyway and finishing at full lockout.  

The score for the workout will be the total of the heaviest lift by each athlete.  

300M Run (together)
40/32 Calorie Row
40 DB Snatch 50/35 (RX Synchro, Scaled Partition)

Athletes will start on their start mats, once the clock starts and the workouts begin both athletes will execute a 300M run together.  

When the run has been completed by both athletes, teams may start the 40/32 calorie row switching off as they choose.  

After the row RX teams will advance to their dumbbells and will complete 40 DB snatches syncro (together).  

Scaled teams after the row will advance to the DB to complete 40 DB snatches while switching off as they choose.  

After the snatches teams will advance back to the rower to complete 40/32 calories.

When teams have completed the row they will finish with a 300M run together. 

the workout ends when both athletes have returned to their start mat.  

8 Minute AMRAP
3 Deadlifts (225/155/155/105)
3 Bar Facing Burpees
3 Toes to bar (SC - hanging knee raises)
Add 3 reps to each movement every round

Workout is for max repetitions 

Workout starts with athletes on the starting mat

One the workout starts one athlete from each team will advance to the bar to start the 3 deadlifts

Once the deadlifts are completed teams will complete 3 bar facing burpees

After the burpees are completed, teams will advance to the rig to complete 3 toes to bar (RX) or 3 Hanging knee raises (Scaled)

After the T2B or HKR are completed teams will go back to the barbell to start deadlifts again, the repetition will be 3 more than the prior round (example, round 2 - 6 reps, round 3 - 9 reps, etc).  

Teams may switch out as they like to complete work
