About This Competition

EVENT OVERVIEW

Price? £75pp

Who? We are inviting NOVO teams of two or OPEN teams of four to take to the stage in our novo and open

categories.

It wouldn’t be an NFG season finale if we didn’t round off the event season with a visit to Loughborough University. Introducing NFG’s FitFest for 2022 – our core event returns and next year, it is guaranteed to be larger and livelier than ever. The 2022 event will run across 2 days so be sure to keep the whole weekend free (although NOVO and OPEN categories will only compete for 1 day), we will release more information closer to the time.

Loughborough’s world-class facilities and central location continue to make this the perfect venue to host an unforgettable conclusion to a fantastic year for NFG.

Not only will NFG FitFest include our biggest and best NFG team competition ever, but we will also be joined by some amazing additional events at the festival, more information to follow – making it an unmissable day for all fitness fanatics.

Avoid disappointment and get your name on the list now. Leave it all at Loughborough.

NOVO Teams of two or OPEN Teams of four

sub-categories available (male, female and mixed with even gender split).

Each pair must complete 3 rounds of:


-       400m Run

-       100m farmers walk M: 2 x 20kg / F: 2 x 15kg / MI: 2 x 20kg

-       Assault Bike Cals M:50 / F:30 / MI:50

 



SCORE = TOTAL TIME TO COMPLETE ALL 3 ROUNDS


Novo Pairs


PART A - Time Cap: 16 mins


Each team member must achieve the following

 lifts:


-       1RM Deadlift

-       3RM Back Squat


PART B – Start at 18 mins


Both athletes to complete the below in Indian File:


-       Row Calories M:15 / F:12

-       10 x Plate Ground to Overhead M:20kg / F:10kg

-       5 x Synchro Burpees to Plate




PART B SCORE = TOTAL TIME FOR PAIR TO COMPLETE THIS PART OF THE WORKOUT

Athletes must complete the below workouts in the below order:


0-3mins – Athlete 1 / Workout 1

3-6 mins – Athlete 1 Rest

6-9mins – Athlete 1 / Workout 2


9-12mins – Athlete 2 / Workout 1

12-15 mins – Athlete 2 Rest

15-18mins – Athlete 2 / Workout 2

Pairs must complete the below together.  All teams will work for 30 secs/rest for 30 secs throughout the duration of the workout:



- 15 x Burpees Over the Worm

- 30 x Worm Deadlifts

- 45 x Worm Squats

- 60 x Worm STOH



2 Man Worm Weights:

Males = 50kg

Females = 40kg

Mixed = 40kg
