About This Competition

The Midsummer Games are back for 2024!
 
One of Ireland’s favourite functional fitness competitions returns June 22nd & 23rd 2024, taking place right in the heart of Galway.
Everything you have come to expect & enjoyed from previous Midsummer Games will return, but for this year we are switching to a MIXED SEX pairing for teams (1 male, 1 female).
We are excited for this change, and we hope all athletes will be as well.
We will host 3 divisions – RX, Intermediate & Scaled. Standards & expected movements for each division are below, and are also available via our socials.

30 dual dumbbell thrusters (22.5kg for male athlete, 15kg for female athlete)

30 toes to bar

15 dual dumbbell thrusters (Athlete 1 - can be either team mate - completes all reps of 15 thrusters before proceeding)

15 toes to bar (Athlete 1 - can be either team mate - completes all reps of 15 toes to bar before proceeding)
