Welcome to THE OSOS CLASSIC II!
We are back with our spring edition of The Osos Classic, we are thrilled to throw this event and hope that you enjoy the experience we are trying to create. For details on divisions please scroll down below.
Event Dates and descriptions are posted below. This is the RX division, and will take place a week prior to the scaled division.
RX DIVISION REQUIREMENTS
This is our “Fire Breather” and “Intermediate” division.
You are RX if you can perform the following movements, and move the following
weights without an issue.
Bar Muscle ups
Rope Climbs
Pull ups
Toe to Bar
Snatch (225/155)
Clean & Jerk (275/195)
Thrusters (135/95)
DB Efficiency (50/35)
Bench Press (205/125)
Wall ball (20/14)
Note: These weights reflect most of the weights used in the work outs.

Event 1: Cliff club
Our first event will begin at the call of 3,2,1 Partner 1 will complete

Once Partner 1 has completed the ladder Partner 2 will begin their part which is

7 Rope Climbs

CAP: 10:00
Standards:
Rope Climbs will be 15 ft climb, athletes must clearly make contact with the beam, any style of climb is permitted. Athletes must come down in a controlled manner.
Squat Cleans must be below parallel and must have full extension at the top, power to front squat will not be permitted and will be counted as a no rep.
Event 2: The Half Way Point
Event 2 starts at the call of 3,2,1 with the following triplet
For Time
300 Double Unders (150/150)
150 Pull-Ups
75 Thrusters (75/55)
CAP: 10:00
Standards:
Double Unders: Rope must go under the athlete two times as athlete jumps
Pull-ups: Chin must go over the bar any style of pull up is permitted
Thruster: Squat must be below parallel, with a full extension on the press.
Pull ups are shared so you may break up reps how ever you deemed fit, and thrusters are also shared so you may brake those up how ever you may deemed fit as well. Both Athletes must complete 150 Double unders to total 300 reps then they move on to pull ups, once those are done they move to thrusters.
Event 3: Galactus
Event 3 will begin at the call of 3,2,1 with the following couplet

15 Synchronized Toe to Bar
15 Squat Snatches (Shared) 155/105
CAP: 12:00
Standards:
Toe to Bar: Both athletes must make contact with the bar at the same time up top.
Squat Snatch: Athlete must go full depth in their lift every single time, this movement is shared which means athletes can partition this portion as they like.
Event 4: The Gravity Chamber
Event 4 will begin at the call of 3,2,1 athletes must complete the following task
60 Hand Stand Push Ups (Buy In)
4 Rounds
20 Front Squats 205/135 Lbs
48 Ft Handstand Walk (Each)
CAP: 13:00
Standards:
Handstand Push ups: These will be athletes buy in to the work out, we are looking for full extension in the arms, these can be kipping or strict. This movement is shared which means it can be partitioned how ever athletes choose.
Front Squats: These will be from the floor, we are looking for full depth at the bottom and full extension at the top. This movement will be shared which means athletes can again choose how to partition reps.
Handstand Walk: This movement will not be shared each athlete must walk 48 ft, the length of each portion will be segmented in 6 ft, in case of athlete falling he/she will be asked to start from the length they did not complete, athletes must begin each time with hands behind the line.
Event 5: Dtish
Event 5 will begin at the call at 3,2,1 with the following task
For Time
Partner 1:
5 Rounds
3 Bar Muscle ups
6 Shoulder to Overhead
9 Hang Power Cleans (115/75)
Then
Partner 2:
15 Bar Muscle ups
30 Shoulder to Overhead
45 Hang Power Cleans (135/95)
CAP: 12:00
Standards:
Bar Muscle up- Arms must be completely extended at the top and athlete must start at a hanging postion for the rep to count. You will be assigned a bar accordingly.
Shoulder to Overhead: Any style of press is permitted, the athlete much have full extension in both the arms and the hips in every rep for it to count. If they do not extend hips but do extend arms it will be a NO REP.
Hang Cleans: All Reps must start from the hang position (above the knee) in order for the rep to count if you clean the bar from the floor it will be a NO REP. You must reach full extension at the top of every rep in order for it to count.
Event 6: Hundo
Event 6 will begin at the call of 3,2,1 with the following chipper

1,000 Meter Partner Run
100 Partner Wall Balls
100 Deadlifts 185/125 Lbs
50 Box Jump Overs
50 One Arm Devil Press 50/35 Lbs
CAP: 17:00
Standards:
Wall Balls: Each partner will stand side by side beneath the wall ball targets, partner one will squat then toss the ball to their designated target (10' MALE/ 9' FEMALE) once the ball has reached its target partner two will receive the ball squat and toss the ball back up. Creating a /\ pattern of wall ball shots going back and forward. Each rep counts as one so that means if each partner completes one shot thats 2 reps and so on.
Deadlift: Athletes must reach full extension at the top and the plates must make contact at the bottom of the deadlift every time. You Are in charge of advancing your bar.
Box Jump Over: No extension is required at the top as long as you get over the box you may land on top of the box and step down but you may not step up, athletes may also clear the box if they chose to do so.
One Arm Devil Press: Burpee down , stand up into a dumbbell snatch, must have full extension when athlete stands up, must alternate each rep.
All Movements are shared. You may break reps in each movement as you please however you must follow the sequence movements as they are.
Event 7: Dormammu
Event 7 begins at the call of 3,2,1 with the following task Konga line Style
For Time
30 Cal Rogue Echo Bike
25 Cal Row
20 Sand Bag Over Shoulder Cleans (150/100)
*Athlete one will complete 10, carry bag over to athlete two they will then complete the final 10 Reps
CAP: 10:00
Partner 1 will begin on the assault bike, once he/she has completed the calories they will move on to the rower at which point partner 2 will begin calories on the bike, once partner 1 has finished calories on the row partner 2 may move forward to the row, at which point partner 1 may begin the sandbag cleans, once partner 2 has finished their calories on the row they may join partner 1 on the sandbag.
Standards:
Sandbag cleans: Must be throw over the shoulder and their must be a full extension of hips and knees when the bag is thrown over the shoulder if knees are bent it will be a no rep.
