Who is the best out West? There is only one way to find Out !! Odessa/Midland’s 4th Annual West Texas War zone is a 1-2 day event that will challenge your strength, conditioning, skill, mental toughness, and fight. All levels welcome. Whether you’re an officer or a general-We have a division for you! 6 Divisions: RX Men/ RX Women/ Scaled Men/ Scaled Women/Masters Men/Masters Women Limited spots available. Cash/Prizes to Top 3 in each division. Get Ready-this means war!!!

Workouts

Equipment for this event will be: Loaded bar (95/75) Yoke (100lbs/Empty) Slam Ball (80lb/50lb) At the sound of 3-2-1 athletes will carry the Yoke on their back from one platform to another where a Slamball resides. There they will perform 1 Ball over Yoke (crossbar of Yoke). Athletes will then carry the Yoke back to the starting platform where a weighted bar resides. There the athlete will perform 1 ground to overhead. Athletes will continue this pattern with ascending reps (2 ball over Yoke/2 Ground to Overhead; 3 BOY/3GTO; ect) until the time expires. Score=total amount of reps completed in 7min Notes: -no point is awarded for yoke carry -ball can travel over the Yoke any way -any ground to overhead works (snatch/clean & Jerk/Cluster/ect) -Yoke carries do not accend-just reps with Slamball and Barbell

Friday Night-Downtowm Midland/ Corner of Wall St. And N Colorado St. Upon Registration, athletes will be weighed. Their exact weight will be rounded to the nearest 5lbs. Mens Weight for this event will be their Body weight/Women will be 80% of Bodyweight. This number will be written on athletes hand or on a piece of paper for the judge to confirm. Before the event starts, the athlete will load their sled with their confirmed weight-counting the sled as 45lbs (example-athlete weighs 100lbs-they will have 2-25lb plates and 2-2.5lb plates on the sled) At the sound of 3-2-1 athletes will push their sled down to their designated platform where a empty 45lb bar resides. Once their sled touches their platform the athlete will unload their sled and load their bar with the same amount (100%/80% of Body weight). There the athlete will preform the following sequence until time expires: 1 Snatch Attempt 1 Clean and Jerk Attempt 1 Deadlift Attempt 2 Snatch Attempt 2 Clean and Jerk Attempt 2 Deadlift 3/3/3/4/4/4and so on. Event will be scored as follows Each Snatch Completed-2 points Each Clean Completed-1-point Each Jerk Completed-1-point Each Deadlift-1 point Note:Attempt is defined with the athlete making a true effort to try to complete the movement. If an athlete simply picks it up with little effort (except on deadlift of course) the attempt does not count and they will need to attempt again. Also note that the attempt does not have to be completed in order to move on. Distance to platform will be shared at the event. Any Type of Snatch, Clean and Jerk is permitted: Power/Squat/Split/ect.

This event is a Chipper AND a EMOM At the sound of 3-2-1 Athlete will start the top of the min, and the top of every min preforming 3 burpees until their workout is complete or time expires. After their 3 burpees athletes will work through the following chipper. At the sound of a horn (acknowledging the top of the min) Athletes will stop what they are doing and preform their 3 burpees. After the 3 burpees, they will continue their work of 50 KB American KB Swings (53/35) 40 Wall Balls (20/14) 30 Cal Row 20 Hand Release Push Ups 10 Body Jump Squats 5 meter Bearcrawl Score= Time completed Notes: If time cap is reached you do get credit for reps you have completed 5M Bearcrawl will have 3 sections-each counting as a rep If you have an object you are working with (KB, WB, Rower) burpees must be performed OVER that object. If Athlete is in transition when the horn sounds, athlete will perform burpees at area that they are closest too.

Get Yoked! 7 Min Brought to you by Basin Subaru Equipment for this event will be: Yoke (180lbs/100lbs) Slam Ball (100/80lb) At the sound of 3-2-1 athletes will carry the Yoke on their back from one platform to another where a Slamball resides. There they will perform 1 Ball over Yoke (crossbar of Yoke). Athletes will then carry the Yoke back to the starting platform. There the Athlete will perform 1 body over Yoke (crossbar of Yoke). Athletes will continue this pattern with ascending reps (2 ball over Yoke/2 Body over Yoke; 3 BOY/3BOY ect) until the time expires. Score=total amount of reps completed in 7min Notes: -no point is awarded for yoke carry -ball can travel over the Yoke any way -any way you want to get your body over the crossbar of the yoke works, -Yokes will be set no lower then armpit level

If Athlete is in transition when the horn sounds, athlete will perform burpees at area that they are closest too.

This workout is a "Death By" format which is when the athlete completes 1rep on min 1; 2 reps on min 2; 3 in min 3......so on until they are unable to complete all required reps within the min. In this workout-Each min starts with a 10 single under jump rope buy in: After completing the buy in the athlete will complete 1 Thruster (95/75)/1 Chin over bar Athlete will then wait until the next min On Min 2 the athlete will complete the 10 single under buy in 2 Thrusters (95/75)/2 Chin over bar Athlete will then wait until the next min This buy in with ascending pattern will continue until the athlete can no longer complete the required reps within the min. At that time the athletes workout is over. Score: Numbers of reps completed Notes: Athletes may break at any time as long as they complete the required reps Athletes may squat clean/cluster the 1st rep. Chin over bar is simply that-anyway you want to get your chin over the bar-get it Bar must be at a height level or above wrist level when arms are extended overhead

This workout is a "Death By" format which is when the athlete completes 1rep on min 1; 2 reps on min 2; 3 in min 3......so on until they are unable to complete all required reps within the min. In this workout-Each min starts with a 10 double under buy in: After completing the buy in the athlete will complete 1 Thruster (115/85) 1 Chest to bar Pullups Athlete will then wait until the next min On Min 2 athlete will complete the 10 double under buy in 2 Thrusters (115/85)/2 Chest to bar Pullups Athlete will then wait until the next min This ascending pattern will continue until the athlete can no longer complete the required reps within the min. At that time the athletes workout is over. Score: Numbers of reps completed Notes: Athletes may break at any time as long as they complete the required reps Athletes may squat clean/cluster the 1st rep.

At that time the athletes workout is over. Score: Numbers of reps completed Notes: Athletes may break at any time as long as they complete the required reps Athletes may squat clean/cluster the 1st rep.
