The Sleven X Games returns for a 3rd year! Expect even BIGGER vibes, MORE energy and some EPIC workouts for 2024 at Sleven Fitness in Vauxhall, London on SATURDAY 18th MAY.

  • A 1-day same sex pairs competition
  • Rx/Intermediate categories
  • Includes 3 workouts + a final
  • "Play to your Strengths" - I go you go style so choose your partner wisely!
  • No synchro so if one of you doesn't have a movement, then you can rely on your partner to help out.
  • No minimum work requirements
  • No qualifiers

Rx Movement requirements:

  • Clean & Jerk Cycling @ 60/42.5kg
  • Snatch Cycling @ 42.5/30kg
  • Gymnastics: Pull-ups, toes-to-bar, handstand push-ups
  • Final: may include muscle-ups


Intermediate Movement requirements:

  • Clean & Jerk Cycling @ 42.5/30kg
  • Snatch Cycling @ 35/25kg
  • Gymnastics: hand release press-ups, rope climbs
  • No pull-ups, toes-to-bar or handstand push-ups
  • Final: Includes toes-to-rings


Entries are £120 per team (£60 each) and there are limited spaces, so get signed up quickly!

The competition runs from 9:00-15:00. Try to arrive from 08:00 to 08:30 for the athlete briefing.

Wod 2a: "Lift Heavy, Move Fast"

 

Min 0-6:

6 minutes to establish a 1RM complex of 

Clean + 2 Front Squats + 3 Shoulder to Overhead


Min 6-7: 

Set barbells for next bit

Min 7-9: 

AMRAP Ground to overhead @ 60/42.5kg

1 rep = 1 point


Min 9-10: 

Set up barbells 


Min 10-12:

AMRAP Ground to overhead @ 85/55kg

1 rep = 2 points

 

Score = Reps @ weight 1 x 1 point + Reps @ weight 2 x 2 points 

Min 7-9: 

AMRAP Cleans @ 42.5/30kg

1 rep = 1 point


Min 9-10: 

Set up barbells 


Min 10-12:

AMRAP Shoulder to overhead @ 42.5/30kg

1 rep = 1 points

 

Score = Total clean reps + total STOH reps

90s on / 30s off:


P1: Row 150/100m + AMRAP Burpees over the rower

P2: 5 Curtis Ps with 2x KBs*


Swap each 90s


Keep following the 90s on/30s off until 100 burpees over the rower are complete or until the time cap.

 

*KBs cannot be put down until the 90s is up. If KBs are put down, burpees must stop.

RX = 2x 24kg/16kg

 

90s on / 30s off:
