About This Competition
Train For Ukraine is back for a second year and is a CrossFit event like no other. Incorporating 2 of London's finest gyms, 150 athletes and some of the biggest brands in the fitness industry all raising money for Sanctuary Foundation, supporting families who are impoverished and displaced due to the war in Ukraine.
On Saturday 8th April, each team will take part in two workouts at each gym. The day will begin at 12pm at WIT Crossfit in St. Pauls. The teams will then make their way to Aphobos Crossfit in Bromley where they will take on the final challenges.

This is a mixed 3s competition with any configuration (M/M/F, M/F/F). There will be an open scaling meaning that reps, movements and weights will be adjusted based on each individual’s ability (within the team). There is a huge prize pot for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as a special prize for the team that raises the most money for Sanctuary Foundation.
£180 entry fee + booking fees with all proceeds going to Sanctuary Foundation.
Fundraising will be done via stewardship.org.uk with details on how raise money sent via email once teams have signed up.
As this is a charity competition, no refunds will be given.

Workouts
For time (15 minute cap):
200m plate run as a team (15/10kg)
500m row

*each athlete must alternate between row/bike/run until all 3 have been completed
15 minute AMRAP
Buy-in: 50 cluster wall balls
Directly into:
1-2-3-4-5...etc
Wall walk HSPU / Double burpee wall walk
*5m HSW / Weighted bear crawl after each round
For time (15 minute cap):
60 down up box stepovers (22.5/15kg) (16/10kg)
45 synchro devil press (22.5/15kg) (16/10kg)
20 bar turnovers / skin the cat
Athletes share the down up box stepover and bar turnover/skin the cat reps however they wish. All athletes perform the devil press in sync.

90s max effort back squats

90s max effort deadlifts
Weight 1: 90/70kg
1 rep = 1 point
Weight 2: 70/50kg
2 reps = 1 point
Weight 3: 50/35kg
3 reps = 1 point
The team alternate between movements to perform as many reps as possible in 90 seconds at their chosen weight. All teammates perform all movements. Weight 1 scores 1 point per rep. Weight 2 scores 1 point for every 2 reps. Weight 3 scores 1 point for every 3 reps.
In remaining time (of 12 minute cap) all athletes build to 1RM split snatch
