About This Competition

With lockdown and other restrictions in place around us, its not possible to commit to an onsite competition.

Therefore, Uzina Cup 7th Edition will be hosted online.

WHO

All CrossFitters are welcome to attend. Before you register please make sure that you are able to complete the movements in a safe manner.


WHAT

Uzina Cup Online version is designed to keep you wired during a 2 days competition. 

Turn your own box into a competition floor and bring your friends to cheer you up.

Movements standards will be as per those found in the CrossFit open. ie if you complete any or all of the open scaled then the scaled category is for you. If RX is where you are at for the Open, the RX category is for you.

 

5 workouts released progressively as follows:

Event 1, 2 & 3 released Nov 19th, due Nov 20th 12:00PM
Event 4 & 5 released Nov 20th, due Nov 21th 12:00PM

Workout Description

Before the workout, the athlete should mention the name and division. At the end of the workout, the athlete must record weights for plates, dumbbells and barbell.

The athlete will start the workout in front of the barbell. At the countdown of 3,2,1...the athlete will complete 15 deadlifts, 15 DBs box step overs and 15 HSPUs / DBs push presses. Only after, the athlete will move forward to perform 12 deadlifts and so on, until the workout is over.

 

EVENT 2

Workout Description

Before the workout, the athlete should mention the name and division.

At the countdown of 3,2,1 the athlete will perform jump rope and then move to the barbell and perform the Snatch complex. The rope must be on the floor at the beginning of the workout.

The complex must be done unbroken, in case of failure the athlete must perform jump rope before any other attempt.

At the end of the workout, the athlete must record weights for the plates and the barbell.

The rower monitor should be set at 5 min for distance option and be clearly visible during the workout.  At the countdown of 3,2,1...the athlete will start rowing for distance. When the 5 minutes cap is over, the athlete will have 1 min rest and then they will move over to the barbell for part B of the event. There is a Total Time Cap of 10:00 for Part A & Part B, transition included.

Workout Description

Before the workout, the athlete should mention the name and division. They should measure distance for handstand walk  at 5 meters marks, respectively for wall walks as per standards below. At the end of the workout, the athlete must record weights.

At the countdown of 3,2,1...the athlete will perform 20/20 KBs Snatch (20 reps on one hand and then 20 reps on the other hand) and then move over to 20 Toes to ring and so on, until the workout is over.

Workout Description

Before the workout, the athlete should mention the name and division, measure box height, walking distance in 5m segments  and film the weights for the dumbbells.

At the countdown of 3,2,1...the athlete start with burpees box jump overs and then continue with double dumbbells hang power clean and jerks, moving to double dumbbells mixed rack walking lunges, back to double dumbbells hang power clean and jerks. Is not allowed to perform the Hang Power Clean between the legs. The workout finishes with 10 burpees box jumps overs.
