Eco Games September 2023

We would love for you to join us on Saturday September 9th, 2023 in our functional fitness competition. Athletes will compete in teams of four (MM/FF), and in two divisions (Rx and Opens). 

WHAT IS THE ECO GAMES?

It's a fun-filled day consisting of 4 workouts, designed to test your functional movements, teamwork and skill. We have programmed a wide variety of Olympic weightlifting, free weights, cardio machines and gymnastics based movements. We'll also give you the chance to test your skills and fitness with some rope climbs, peg boards, weighted vests and the infamous sandbag worm. Movements you only get to see on the big screen.

Held at our high-end functional fitness gym, the competition will be spread accross both our indoor and outdoor facilities.

With a live DJ, food trucks, coffee van, apparel and recovery station, this is a day you won't want to miss! Be sure to bring your mates too, there is plenty of room for spectators to cheer you on and enjoy the day.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Please note: Registrations are limited

The competition consists of two divisions Experts (Rx) and intermediate to beginners (Opens), in teams of four MM/FF. If you’re new to functional fitness and are looking to do your first, or maybe a second competition, our opens division is the perfect one for you.

The number of teams in Rx and Opens will be limited. Each heat will include a maximum of 4 teams, with 4 workouts going at the same time across the venue. This will ensure a smooth schedule throughout the day and enough space between teams, as well as optimal time between each heat for our athletes.

PRIZE MONEY

Teams will compete for a cash prize: 

Rx Division - (MM/FF)

• 1st - $1,800
• 2nd - $1,000
• 3rd - $600

Open Division - (MM/FF)

• 1st - $1,300
• 2nd - $700
• 3rd - $360

The affiliate gym with the most teams registered will also win $500 cash. 

GET IN QUICK. Your registration will also include an Eco Games tank (for every team registered until August 1st 2023).

We will also release further prizes for our podium finishers and opportunities to win as we lead up to the day. 

STAY TUNED to our Instagram (@ecogames_) for movement standards and workouts. Each workout will be released in June, so you know what to prepare for and can incorporate these into your training. 

REFUND POLICY - Strictly no refunds will be available. Team members can be transferred up until one week before the competition date. In the event of government orders or weather conditions and the event is unable to run, we will postpone it to a later date.
