About This Competition
About UG Series: The UG Games is celebrating its 11th year as the largest functional fitness event in Canada.
A fun celebration of functional fitness takes place on the shores of Georgian Bay at the famous Millennium Park in Collingwood, ON.
On July 14th and 15th, athletes will descend onto Millennium Park to compete in a two-day functional fitness competition. All athletes will compete in four "outside-the-box" workouts spanning across a day of fitness and fun.

This is a family-friendly functional fitness festival for all ages and abilities across our 5 categories.
How to get there: Millennium Park is located at 1 Heritage Drive in Collingwood, Ontario.
Parking: Free Parking located just outside the park. 10 Minute walk into the park.
Workouts: Workout's will not be released until after registration is closed, in the weeks leading up to the competition. Refer to division descriptions for guidance or speak to your coach on what category is best for you.
Refund Policy: There are no refunds if a team or individual changes their mind. It is the registrants' responsibility for members of the team to find a replacement if one or more of their athletes decides to opt out.
Substituting Athletes: The deadline to change or substitute athletes July 1, 2023.
T-Shirts: All sizes are finalized at the time of registration.
Weather: This entire event is held outdoors. This is a rain or shine event. Come prepared for unexpected weather changes. We reserve the right to modify or change the event schedule due to weather events that may occur. This includes changing movements or workouts, changing heat times, and in extreme cases, canceling heats completely.

F/F pair will begin with three rounds of 4 rope climbs (you go, I go) & 14 synchro alternating dumbbell snatch. During this time, the M/M pair is accumulating calories on the echo bike. Once F/F pair completes 3 rounds, the M/M pair begins their 3 rounds and F/F pair will continue to accumulate calories on the echo bike. Once both pairs have completed their 3 rounds, as a team of 4, they accumulate calories until the time cap of 12 minutes. Two scores: Time to complete 6 total rounds & accumulated echo calories.

Hang In There
Workouts starts with all 4 team members completing 14 x shuttle runs ending at the rig. Once at the rig, a M/F pair will complete syncro Toes to Bar, while the non T2B pair will need to hold a dead hang on the rings. Swapping between pairs is allowed, until the 40 reps is accumulated. Once complete, 100 M/F syncro Wall Balls will be completed, again swapping between pairs as required until 100 reps is accomplished. Once WB are complete, athletes will return to the bar/ rings for another 40 T2B* reps.
Tie break is reps before time cap.

With 6 minutes on the clock, this workout will begin with the M/M pair on the rowing machine, swapping within the pair to complete a 1,000m row. Once the 1,000m row is complete, they will move to the platform and AMRAP the “Macho Man” complex, until the 6 minutes is up. The F/F pair will follow the same format, starting on minute 8 and working for 7 minutes until minute 15. The cumulative rounds and reps of Macho Man will be taken at the end of the workout with the F/F 1,000m as the tiebreak score.

TRI-Hard - Team (Pair 1)
This workout will be completed in M/F pairs. Pair 1 (P1) will begin with a 1,000m run followed by 40 synchro burpee box jump overs and a 100m swim. At 3 minutes, Pair 2 (P2) will begin the same workout: 1,000m run, 40 synchro burpee box jump overs, 100m swim. If P1 is still completing burpee box jump overs when P2 returns from the run, Pair 2 must wait. This workout will have two scores: P1 total time and P2 total time.
