- 20 Minute Window - GYMNASTIC METCON TEST
- 10 Minute Rest
- 30 Minute Window - AEROBIC CAPACITY TEST
Gauntlet Stations
STRENGTH TEST
Each member of your team will perform a lift for max weight. Followed by a strength endurance test that will be for max tonnage (weight chosen x number of reps completed in timeframe)
GYMNASTIC METCON TEST
There will be a mixed skill metcon that the team will complete together. Each member does not need to have high skill gymnastic skills. There will be variations given with different rep schemes so all abilities can take part in the workout as prescribed. E.g. if there are pull ups, not all team members need to be able to do pull ups, but if no one in the team is capable there will be a higher rep scheme for alternative movements such as ring rows/assisted pull ups and will be scored the same.
AEROBIC CAPACITY TEST
The final test will be a cardio piece to test the team's aerobic capacity. Think a mixture of different ergs, where it will be up to you to work out the best strategy to score the most points on this test based on your team's strengths and weaknesses, but this one will really test your lungs whilst being beginner friendly!
