About This Competition
Unbound Athletic
Presents: Unbound & Unleashed
This is a Team of 4 EVENT (2 Males and 2 Females) consisting of 4 WODs, held on Saturday the 14th of October 2022.
The day will consist of 4 Events. Workouts will be released 21 Days prior to the day, we will be running 4 divisions Rx, Intermediate, Beginner & Masters.
Entry is
$280 per Beginner, Intermediate & Masters 40+
$280 for RX team
Registrations open 26/07/2023 - 11 am.
Unbound & Unleashed is an event for Intermediate, Masters(40+) & RX Athletes, below is some guidance on what is to be expected of each division.
We will look to split the event up running a morning block for
Intermediate 7 am - 1 pm
Afternoon:
Rx, Masters & Beginner - 1.00 pm - 6.30 pm

These standards are no indication of intended workouts. They are only to be used as guidance when selecting your division. Division changes are allowed until 5 days out.
Beginner -
2/4 Athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements
(Open Standards apply for some movements)
- Hanging Leg Raises (To PVC w/Band)
- Pull-up
- Scaled Wall Walk
All 3 Athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements to
Full open standards
- Hang Snatch & Front Squat (30/20kg)
- Clean & Jerk 50/35 for reps
- Cycle a Variety of movements with a Dumbbell (15/10kg)
- Wall-Ball 20/14lb
- Box Step-Ups @ 24/20"
Please Note - This is our beginner division and can have movement adjustments on the
day, based on an athlete's limitations to maximize participation. For many, this will be
their first competition, and inclusiveness is our aim. Workouts will be written in a way
that allows all athletes to participate in some way, shape, or form, without worrying about
skill limitations that the intermediate division can place on an athlete.
Intermediate -
At least 2 of 4 athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements to a full Open Standard.
- TTB
- Pull Ups
- Wall Walks
All 4 athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements to a full Open Standard
- Snatch and overhead Squat 40/30kg for reps
- Clean and Jerk 60/40kg for reps
- cycle a variety of DB movements at 22.5/15kg
- wall balls 20/14lb
- Box Jumps 24/20"
Master and Apprentice -
Note for this Division we are allowing teams consisting of a minimum of 3 athletes who are 40+ and one open athlete.
At least 2 of 4 athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements to a full Open Standard
- CTB
- Bar Muscle Ups
- kHSPU
- Wall Walks
All of the 4 athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements to a full Open Standard
- Snatch 40/30kg for reps
- Thrusters 50/35kg
- Clean and Jerk 60/40kg for reps
- Wall Balls 20/14lb
- TTB
- Pull Unders
- cycle a variety of DB movements at 22.5/15kg
Please Note - this is an intermediate division, NOT scaled and as such there will be no scaling of movements, eg TTB will not be subbed for hanging knee raises. Workouts will be written to an Intermediate standard. Workouts will be written in a way that allows for an athlete who doesn't have a certain skill to be aided by a teammate with the skill.

Rx
At least 2 of 4 athletes at quarter-final level and able to complete ALL CrossFit Skills to an Open standard.

All 4 athletes should be comfortable working through the following movements
- Snatch / Overhead Squat 60/40kg reps

Workouts & Standards
All movements and standards will be outlined.? Each WOD offers different levels of movement and/or weight. The competitor will choose at registration which level to complete the workout. This rewards strengths exposes weaknesses and enables everyone to compete at a level that is challenging for them.
All workouts and movement standards will be released in the week prior to the event.
Briefing:
The competition Briefing will be posted as Video recordings to the event page. At 7:30 pm on Friday Night, coaches will monitor the comments to answer any questions you may have regarding the workouts and the standards.
Waivers:
Waivers are to be filled out before the day, spares will be around on the day.

FAQ’s
Warming Up
There will be a warm-up area for your convenience. There will be equipment for you to use during your warm-up, but if you have specific warm-up needs, you will need to bring those items with you.
Parking
Our parking lot is going to be reserved for vendors and utilized for the workouts and a warm-up area throughout the day so you will be unable to park in the venue. There is plenty of parking on Flinders Parade.
Spectators
You are welcome to bring as many spectators with you as you would like and we will have room for you to set up tents, chairs, tables, etc. for your convenience. During the competition, the building will be reserved for athletes and spectators only, so your belongings will need to be placed outside.
Food & Drink
Food and drink options will be available to be purchased on the day.
