About This Competition
Ragnarök Returns!
Join us in the battle for the 2023 Ragnarök champions on the 24 & 25 June 2023!
This time we will run the competition for Individuals (including Teens) and Mixed Teams of 6.

Taking place on Saturday 24th June & Sunday 25th June 2023, teams of 6 will enter the competition via direct entry and will be made up of 2 x female and 4 x male athletes.
The teams category will be run in the Fitness, Throwdown and Compete divisions and all teams will complete at least 4 workouts across one day. Compete teams will be competing for prize money whilst the Fitness and Throwdown teams will compete for a huge prize pot worth £1000s!
Venue: NAEC Stoneleigh (plenty of onsite parking)

Movement Standards
We ask that you enter the division that best describes the level the majority of your team are working at. There will be points where not all athletes have to complete the most complex work.
Fitness (Saturday 24th June):
New for 2023, fitness is for scaled and beginner athletes only. Athletes will be new to the sport and will complete lower weighted and lower skilled workouts. Weights and movements that you could expect to see programmed in this division include:
Single Unders
Jerk @ 45/30 KG
Clean @ 60/40 KG
Snatch @ 40/25 KG
Deadlift @ 80/50 KG
1 x Dumbbell @ 22.5/15 KG
2 x Dumbbell @ 15/10 KG
Throwdown (Sunday 25th June):
The division for the intermediate athlete. Weights and movements that you could expect to see programmed in this division include:
Double Unders (or higher reps of single unders)
Pull Ups
Toes To Bar
Jerk @ 70/50 KG
Clean @ 80/60 KG
Snatch @ 60/40 KG
Deadlift @ 100/70 KG
Overhead Squat @ 60/40 KG
2 x Dumbbells @ 22.5/15 KG
In some instances athletes may be given the option to choose to perform a higher skilled movement in place of another.
Compete (Saturday 24th June):
This division is for the more experienced Rx level athlete. Weights and movements you could expect to see programmed in this division include:
Double Unders
All Gymnastic Movements ( Minimum of 2 members need to be able to HSW Jerk @ 85/60 KG
Clean @ 100/70 KG
Snatch @ 70/50 KG
Deadlift @ 120/85 KG
Overhead Squat @ 70/50 KG
2 x Dumbbells @ 22.5/15 KG

10 Worm Clean & Jerk (4 athletes working)
20 Synchro Burpee Over Worm (must be completed by the 4 who did the C&J)
R1: 30 Synchro Pull Ups

R3: 10 C2B
(only 2 athletes to sync on the rig and they have to have come from the worm, must be a different pair each round)
Must run back to tag in at holding area

3 RFT:
Relay DB Lunges 12 x 8m (2 Lengths per athlete @ 2 x 22.5/15KG)
40 Sync SA DB Snatch (all 6 athletes) @ 1 x 22.5/15 KG
20 Worm Thrusters (4 athletes - same 4 athletes throughout the 20 thrusters, they cannot swap mid set)
