Vi er tilbage i slagterhallen i centrum af København, Kødbyen, CrossFit Butcher's Lab.
NYT FORMAT - TEAMS AF TO - SAMME KØN
En 1-dags konkurrence for RX, Intermediate og Masters atleter.
I år introducerer vi et helt nyt koncept:
THE TROPHY
Butcher's Battles og Butcher's Classics bygger bro.
Dig og din makker har nu mulighed for at deltage sammen i begge konkurrencer og blive den samlede vinder af begge events i ét leaderboard.
I THE TROPHY er der særskilt præmiering med præmiepenge i ALLE kategorier.
KATEGORIER
Intermediate (Herrer/damer) og Masters 40+ (Damer) er på konkurrencegulvet om lørdagen d. 15. april.
RX (Herre/damer) og Masters 40+ (Herre) er på konkurrencegulvet om søndagen d. 16 april.

BUTCHERS BATTLES 2023
We are back in the slaughterhouse in the middle of Copenhagen, The meat packing district, CrossFit Butcher's Lab.
NEW SETUP - TEAMS OF TWO - SAME SEX
This year we are introducing a brand new concept:
THE TROPHY
Butcher's Battles and Butcher's Classics are joining forces.
You and your partner now have the opportunity to compete together in both competitions and become the combined winner of both events in one leaderboard.
THE TROPHY has a seperat awarding and cash prizes for the winners in ALL categories.
DIVISIONS
Masters, Intermediate and RX Athletes will be tested thoroughly in a 1-day competition, which provides exciting events and a unique spectator experience in the old Butchery.
Intermediate (F/M) and Womens Masters 40+ will be on the floor Saturday, April 15th.
RX (F/M) and Male Masters 40+ will be on the floor Sunday, April 16th.

Workouts
This is the official Qualifier workout for Butcher's Classics 2023.
Athlete A completes as many repetitions as possible in a 4 minute window:
- 3-6-9-12-15-18-21-.... Deadlift @ 100kg / 70kg
- 3-6-9-12-15-18-21-.... Handstand push-ups
then a 2 minute reset
Athlete B completes as many repetitions as possible in a 4 minute window:
- 3-6-9-12-15-18-21-.... Deadlift @ 100kg / 70kg
- 3-6-9-12-15-18-21-.... Handstand push-up
The score of event 1 will be the consolidated reps of Athlete A and Athlete B.
The event tiebreaker will be the highest score of the two athletes.
Total time of the event is 10 minutes.
For time complete:
- 80 Calories SkiErg
- 25 Worm Clean & Push Presses
- 60 Calories SkiErg
- 25 Worm Thrusters
- 40 Calories SkiErg
- 25 Burpees-over-Worm
- 20 Calories SkiErg
- 25 Worm Squats @ (96/70kg)
Timecap - 21 minutes for RX Women, 20 minutes for RX Men and 22 minutes for Masters 40+.
In a 5 minute window build up the the heaviest combined lift of:
- 1 squat clean, 1 hang squat clean, 1 front squat
The score is the combined weight of the heaviest lift of each athlete.
Directly after event 3A complete the following workout for time:
3 rounds of
- 60 Velites Heavy Double Unders
- 12 Asynchronized Bar Muscle-ups
- 2 Lanes Sync. DB Overhead Lunges (1x 22,5 kg / 1x 15kg dumbbell)
Total timecap is 14 minutes.
Complete for time the following workout:
- 8/6 legless rope climbs
- 12 Sync. Ground-to-overhead @ 52,5 kg / 35 kg
- 12 Sync. shoulder-to-overhead
- 12 Sync. overhead squat
