WELCOME TO CROSSFIT ZION’S STRANGER TEAMS HALLOWEEN THROWDOWN.
WHO’S INVITED!
Crossfitter or not! You are welcome to jump on in as long as you can complete the movement standard safely and you feel confident in doing so.
WHAT IS THE STRANGER TEAMS THROWDOWN?
It's a Halloween Fitness Celebration. In Teams of 2. So Find your freakiest most fit friend you can, Get your costume and Put your strangest team together and come compete with Southern Utah's Fittest.
Perfect for competition for Rx Athletes, Masters and Intermediates. Similar to the Crossfit Open Divisions and format.
DIVISIONS
- RX - Handstand walks - Ring or Bar Muscle ups, Heavy barbell, Doubles, Cleans, Jerks, Back Squats
- MASTERS 35 + Handstand walks - Ring or Bar Muscle ups, Heavy barbell, Doubles, Cleans, Jerks, Back Squats
- INTERMEDIATE - Pull ups, light barbell, Wall Balls, Box Jumps, KB Swings.

Workouts
MAX EFFORT SLED PUSH
Athletes will have three minutes to sled push a max distance
Trade off as much as wanted. Sled wieght is 135/95
5 Min Max Effort:
Bike for Calories.
This goes with Part B. Bike must be going through out the 5 min work. Partners can rotate or one can stay on the bike the entire 5 Min Amrap. Score is for reps.
This is part B of Max's Mongoose.
As bike athlete is getting as many calories as possible, Athlete B is doing as many reps as possible of the following:
RX 5 MIN AMRAP OF:
5 bar muscle ups
7 handstand push-ups
9 burpee box jump over, 30/24

MASTERS 5 MIN AMRAP OF:
5 Chest to Bar Pull Ups
7 handstand push-ups
9 burpee box jump over, 24/20

INTERMEDIATE 5 MIN AMRAP OF:
5 Jumping hest to Bar Pull Ups
7 Hand Release Push Ups
9 burpee box jump over, 24/20 can be step overs
Partners can rotate as much as they want and however they choose. Atheltes can stay on the same movement/bike the entire 5 min amrap.
THE BEAR COMPLEX.
Each partner has 8 minutes to establihs a 1RM Bear Complex.
A Bear Complex is:
1 Power Clean
1 Front Squat
1 Push Press
1 Back Squat
1 Back Prush Press

*score is combined weight*
RX/MASTERS 8 MIN CAP
50 wall ball, 20/14, 10’/9’
40 toes to bar
30 alternating DB snatch, 50/35
20’ handstand walk *each* (5’ increments)
100 double unders 50 each
INTERMEDIATE 8 MIN CAP
50 wall ball, 14/10, 10’/9’
40 Hanging Knee Raises
30 alternating DB snatch, 35/25
20’ Bear Crawl
100 Single unders 50 each
*one partner working at a time.
*each partner must do at least one rep of each movement
*Jump Rope each partner must divide equally
* Handstand Walk each partner must do 20' each
