About This Competition

You’ve worked hard all year. Now it's time to test your year’s training at our 1st Annual “Shakas and Snatches Hawaii State Fitness Championships at Arakios ”. This is the end of the year competition guaranteed to test your strengths and find your weaknesses.   Join Shakas and Snatches and Arkaios for a full day of individual competition on December 9th!

Do you have what it takes?!

We will have five different divisions!

  • Rx
  • Scaled
  • Master's (40-49)
  • Master's 50+
  • Rookie aka First Timers

The scaled division is your average scaled competition, with the Rookie division specifically tailored for those who have never competed before. As such, the movement skill level and weights will be even less than the scaled division expectations.

In order to qualify for Rookie, you must have never competed in any individual or team competition previously. This is meant to be an introductory competition division.
