About This Competition

Hungry Dog Barbell and CrossFit Raid are happy to announce the return of THe Brawl in the Burbs coming Saturday July 19th. Co-Ed teams (Rx,SCALED, MASTERS) of two men and two women will compete in four challenging events. The top teams will be move on to an unannounced final championship event.

 


Cost is $350 per four person team. RX,Scaled and Masters divisions. 

Early bird pricing $300 through April 20th.

 


Registration will be capped at 40 teams.

 


RX workout weights and movement standards:

 

Rx Standards 

  Deadlift 125#/185#
  Shoulder to Overhead 125#/185#
  Dumbbell Snatch & Dumbbell Clean and Jerk 35#/50#
  Wall Balls 20#/30#
* Double Unders
* Toes to Bar
* Strict HSPU
* Bar Muscle Ups
  Burpee box jump over 20/24"

 

All movements performed for reps. * indicate at least one person of each gender must be capable of performing. RX teams are expected to have completed the CrossFit Open as prescribed. Suggested for all team members to have finished CF Open in the top 25%.

All movements performed for reps. * indicate at least one person of each gender must be capable of performing. This division is for athletes that may have needed to scale some of the CrossFit Open or for those who completed it as prescribed and finished outside the top 25%.

Full ROM for all bodyweight movements

 


Double-unders

 


Ability to perform most advanced gymnastics movements (chest-to-bar pull ups, handstand push ups, toes-to-bars, muscle ups, pistols, ring dips) Please note, if muscle ups are included not all team members will need to do them.

 

 

Masters ( combined age of 160 years)

All movements performed for reps. * indicate at least one person of each gender must be capable of performing. This division is for athletes whose combined age equals 160 years of age total by or before the day of competition.
