About This Competition

Calling all RX, scaled, and masters 40+ athletes. Join us a CrossFit Fernandina for an awesome day of competition. Individual and three-person teams will complete three WODs and one floater in this single day event.

EVENT SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

Early check in on FRIDAY 7/29 from 5-6pm

FLOATER ANNOUNCEMENT on Friday at 6pm via Instagram livestream

Doors open on Saturday 7/30 at 6am

Athlete check in from 6:30-7:30am

Athlete briefing at 7:45am

First heat starts at 8:15am

Last heat ends around 3pm

Podium tentatively 20-30 minutes after last heat


HEAT SCHEDULES WILL BE SENT OUT BY FRIDAY 7/22

3-PERSON TEAM

Buy In: 30 toes to bar SYNCHRO between two teammates

36-27-18

Deadlifts

Chest to bar pull-ups

Time cap: 10 minutes

*FLOW OF THE WOD: 2 person SYNCHRO of the toes to bar, the 3rd teammate can swap in at any point. For the 36-27-18 reps, only ONE teammate can work at a time. Split these reps however the team sees fit.

Scaled/Masters 40+: Single-unders, 24”/20”, 35/20

*Step-overs are accepted for scaled/masters division for box jumps

*This workout is completed RELAY style between teammates, no concurrent working between partners or it is a NO REP. Each partner must complete a round of the workout before the other partner can start a round.

“Macho Man” – FULL SYNCHRO

3 power cleans

3 front squats

3 jerks

Time cap: 10 minutes

*FLOW OF THE WOD: The burpee buy-in can be completed however the athlete’s decide to split up the work. The 5 rounds of “Macho Man” must be FULL SYNCHRO between TWO teammates, the other teammate rests and can swap in at any point.
