About This Competition
ELFIT Juniors is back in its 4rd edition and will be held on 17 & 18 November at the New Capital Sports city as part of ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games 11th edition.
ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games is not just an event, it’s the biggest multi-sports festival in Egypt & the MENA region, featuring more than 15 different competitions & sports including ELFIT CrossFit Championship, the biggest CrossFit competition in the region.
ELFIT JUNIORS; THE REGION’S FIRST OF ITS KIND FITNESS EVENT EXCLUSIVE TO YOUTH ATHLETES
This event is for kids and teens from all sports backgrounds and all fitness levels. There will be 5 age divisions spanning from 8 to 17 years for both genders.
THE COMPETITION IS SAFE & FUN!
The challenges are specifically designed to test all areas of athleticism for developing youth athletes… keeping in mind that these kids are still growing, challenges will be scaled according to age and ability. Athletes will RUN, SPRINT, SQUAT, JUMP, CRAWL, LIFT OBJECTS and most of all, have FUN!

- Youth Boys U-9 (7-9) Born in 2014 & 2015
- Youth Girls U-9 (7-9) Born in 2014 & 2015
- Youth Boys U-11 (10-11) Born in 2012 & 2013
- Youth Girls U-11 (10-11) Born in 2012 & 2013
- Youth Boys U-13 (12-13) Born in 2010 & 2011
- Youth Girls U-13 (12-13) Born in 2010 & 2011
- Teen Boys U-15 (14-15) Born in 2008 & 2009
- Teen Girls U-15 (14-15) Born in 2008 & 2009
- Teen Boys U-17 (16-17) Born in 2006 & 2007
- Teen Girls U-17 (16-17) Born in 2006 & 2007
THE CHALLENGE IN A NUTSHELL:
The Competition will consist of 4-6 challenges within each age division that will test the athlete's overall athleticism.
Athletes ages 8-13 years will compete in 4-5 different challenges while Athletes ages 14-17 years will compete in the 4-6, the challenges will test their endurance, speed/agility, body weight strength, power & functional fitness.
All Challenges will be announced between 15-30 September.
TIMELINE:
Divisions U9 / U11 / U13:
- Login: Friday 17 Nov. 10:30 - 11:30 am
- Competition: Friday 17 Nov. 1:30 - 4:00 pm
- Awards: Friday 17 Nov. 4:00 - 5:30 pm
Divisions U15 / U17:
- Login: Friday 17 Nov. 1:30 - 3:00 pm
- Competition: Saturday 18 Nov. 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Awards: Saturday 18 Nov. 2:30 - 4:30 pm
REGISTRATION:
- Platform: All Athletes registration are via Competition Corner
- Early Bird Registration: 1 September - 25 October
- Normal Registration: 25-30 October
- Registration Deadline: registration will close on 30 October 2023, or upon reaching full capacity
- Capacity: Each division will have a maximum capacity of 18 athletes
- Policy: Registration is on a first come first serve base
REGISTRATION BENEFITS:
- 1x Athlete/Team participation spot
- 1x Official ELFIT Juniors T-shirt for each Athlete competing
- 1x ELFIT Games Weekend entry ticket for each athlete to use for themselves
- Individuals: 1x weekend entry bracelet (for the athlete guardian whether coach or parent)
SCORING:
- Athletes will complete multiple challenges throghout the day.
- In each division athletes will be ranked based on their performance against other athletes’ scores in each challenge.
- Points will be awarded based on placement in a challenge —1 point for first place, 2 points for second place, and so on, Lower points wins.
- The total points will be ranked in the overall ranking list and the winner will be the athlete that has accumulated the fewest points after all challenges have been completed.
- In Case of a tie in the total number of points, the tie breaker will be a specific challenge that will be announced before the event

SPECTATORS:
- Coaches, families & friends will have to purchase ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games spectator ticket to enter the event

Simply because kids need to move and need more activities and events tailored for them. We aim to help educate and expose youth athletes to the fitness world in hopes of developing a lifelong passion for performance, health, and wellness. We also want to provide youth and teens with an opportunity to compete in a safe and FUN environment ELFIT Juniors is under the umbrella of ELFIT Fitness Events which is the biggest fitness events franchise in Egypt, the Middle East & Africa. Functional style workout with only bodyweight exercises. The challenge will consist of a variety of functional exercises testing their upper and lower body.
For Time: 180m Sprints shuttle run
Boomerang is a test of speed & Agility. Athletes will take part in a shuttle run race to determine the fastest athlete in their division.
Athletes will race to move several objects of varying weight and size across the finish line as fast as possible.

Athletes will race to move several objects of varying weight and size in the specified manner as fast as possible. This format will test the athlete’s grip
strength, stability, power and ability to push and pull.

8-13 Years old: 1.25KM
14-17 Years old: 2.5KM
Tires Run - Crawling Net
Throw bag over wall - Jump Over the Wall
Tire Flip - Cylinder Balance Beam
Climbing Net - Monkeybars
High Balance Beam - Tarazan Swing
Athletes will race through a course that will test all elements of athletic abilities: speed,
agility, endurance, strength, and power.
*If an athlete is unable to complete an obstacle, a time penalty is added to their final
time
