Heavy Hangover, PART A

6:00 to find a 1RM Clean & Jerk.

 

*****
Weights can go up and down as desired.
Power Clean / Squat Clean is permitted.
Any shoulder to overhead movement is permitted for the Jerk, so long as lockout is achieved in the finishing position.  
Teams may pre-load their bar with their starting weight.  
Teams MUST have clips on the bar for the rep to count.
Teams MUST wait for the judge's acknowledgment of completed rep, before the bar is dropped, for the rep to count.  
Score is each athletes heaviest weight combined.

Athlete 2 will complete rounds 2&4.
HSW will be completed in 5m increments.
HS Shoulder Taps will be wall facing with the athletes hand on a line 50cm from the wall.

The Devil You Run With

For Time - 12:00 CAP

800m Run / 1000m Row
30 Synchro Alt. Single DB Devil Press
800m Run / 1000m Row

RX - 25/20kg
INT - 20/15kg
SCLD - 12.5/10kg


To start, Athlete 1 will run 800m while Athlete 2 rows 1000m.
Both athletes will then perform the 30 synchro Devil Press.
Following, Athlete 1 will then finish with the 1000m row while Athlete 2 finishes on the 800m run.

If the runner is back first, they may not assist the rowing athlete in finishing.  
The athlete must remain on the rower until the 1000m is shown on the screen.
The Devil Press is synchronised at the top of the rep - lockout of the arm overhead, head through the arm, knees and hips extended.
The dumbbell must travel from the floor to the overhead position in one unbroken movement.
Score is time completed OR reps completed at the 12:00 cap.
100m Row = 1 rep (10 reps per row up for grabs)
Full 800m Run = 1 rep
Tie break time is time at the completion of the 30 Synchro Devil Press.
