About This Competition

This is an individual online qualifier for GameDay Homecoming 2023. Divisions are as follows;

  • Scaled 
  • Rx
  • Masters 35+
  • Scaled MF Teams
  • Rx MF Teams

When registering, if you know you are scaled, feel free to choose the scaled division. If you are Intermediate or Rx, choose Rx. As you know, you get better in the sport as time goes on. Completing the qualifier in Rx will help you compare your current level against the other athletes. Upon completion of the qualifier, we would suggest that the top 25-30% sign up for Rx and everyone else as Intermediate. 

Workouts will be released on 12/10/22

There will be four scored events. They will be structured as follows

  • One heavy lift
  • One AMRAP
  • One long duration for time
  • One short duration for time

All athletes who participate will receive the following;

  • Early access to registration for GameDay Homecoming
  • Priority seeding in heats (earlier sign up = placement in later heats)
  • Special swag bag item if there are enough registrations for the qualifier

  • Event 1a Released 11/27/22
  • Events 1b-3 Released 12/10/22
  • Registration Closes 12/11/22
  • Leaderboard for Events 1 and 2 Live 12/10/22
  • Events 1a and 1b Scores Due 12/21/22
  • Events 2 and 3 Scores Due 12/31/22 
  • Leaderboard for Events 2 and 3 Live on 12/30/22
  • Leaderboard closes 12/31/22 at 8pm

IMMEDIATELY AFTER completing the AMRAP, you will have 7 minutes to find a one rep max back squat for the event 3 score

RX and Masters Indy and RX MF Teams

9 Minute AMRAP

4-6-8-etc.

*50 Dubs between Back Squat sets

Men All Divisions = 225lbs

Women All Divisions = 155lbs

IMMEDIATELY AFTER completing the AMRAP, you will have 7 minutes to find a one rep max back squat for the event 3 score

TEAMS you will combine your scores for each event

  • For example, on 1a, if the female teammate gets 100 reps and the male gets 100 reps, the score is 200

IMMEDIATELY AFTER completing the Event 1a 9 Minute AMRAP, you will have 7 minutes to find a one rep max back squat for the event 1b score

TEAMS you will combine your scores for each event
