About This Competition

Seashore PHOENIX GAMES 2024 is a competition that is specialized in functional fitness. Happening for the Fourth year in Qatar after the tremedous success of its predecessor. Sponsored by Aspire Zone, title sponsored by Seashore group, Strategic Sponsored by Visit Qatar and organized by Erada Fitness.

Seashore PHOENIX GAMES 2024 will take place in Ladies Sports Hall in Aspire Zone, one of Qatar’s greatest sports facilities. The event will kick off on September 26-28 for Men Competition and September 29-30 for Women Compeititon (which will be private and closed to women only).

The competition will be divided into 5 categories:

1. Individual RX (Men)

2. Teams of 3 (Men)

3. Master's Men 40+ (Men)

4. Individual RX (Women)

5. Teams of 3 RX (Women)

6. Team of 2 Rookies (Women)

Prizes will be given to the Top 3 winners of each category and Top 3 Qatar National Team of 3 (Men), Team of 3 RX (Women) and Individual Masters. For each event, the winner will get the highest points record (100 points). The team or individual with the highest points will be crowned the winner. Our purpose is to crown the fittest in the region and the fittest Qatari Nationals in both individual and team.

Categories:

Individual RX Competition - Men*
(Registration fee is 120$)

  1. Athletes must be over 16+
  2. Athletes must be an Arab National.
  3. Athletes must be able to do all RX movements in CrossFit Open.
  4. All Athletes will do several events across the three days completion; Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  5. 30 Athletes will advance to the semi-final.
  6. 10 Athletes will advance to the final.
  7. Top 3 (overall) will get a cash prize.
  8. Photo ID is Required during the Check-in.
  9. Doping test will be applied to the top 3 and Randomly during the competition.
  10. By Entering PHOENIX GAMES, you concent to the use of your image in any photographs or videos taken on the premisis for promotional and marketing purposes. 

Team of 3 Competition for All Levels - Men*
(Registration Fee is 360$ for the team)

  1. Athletes must be over 16+
  2. Minimum fitness experience of 6 months.
  3. All teams will do several events on the first day and one event on the second day before the final cut.
  4. 20 teams will advance to the semi-final.
  5. 10 teams will advance to the final.
  6. Top 3 (Overall) will get a cash prize.
  7. Top 3 (Qatari Nationals) will get a cash prize.
  8. All team members have to be GCC resident or from an Arab country.
  9. Photo ID is required during the check-in
  10. Doping Test will be applied to the top 3 and randomly during the competition.

Individual Master Men 40+ (Registration fee is 120$)

  1. Athletes must be over 40+
  2. Athletes must be able to do all RX movements in CrossFit Open.

  4. Top 3 (overall) will get a cash prize.  
  5. Top 3 (National) will get a cash prize.
  6. Athlete has be GCC resident or from an Arab country.
  7. Photo ID is required during the check-in
  8. Doping Test will be applied for the top 3, and randomly during the competition.
  9. By Entering PHOENIX GAMES, you concent to the use of your image in any photographs or videos taken on the premisis for promotional and marketing purposes. 

Individual RX Competition - Women*

  3. All Teams will do Several events on day 1 and 2
  4. Top 3 (Overall) will get a cash prize.
  5. Top 3 (Qatari Nationals) will get a cash prize.  
  6. All team members have to be GCC resident or from an Arab country.
  7. Photo ID is required during the check-in
  8. Doping test will be applied for the top 3 teams, and randomly during the competition.

Team of 2 Competition (Rookies)- Women*
(Registration Fee is 240$ for the team)    

  • Athletes must be over 16+
  • Minimum fitness experience of 6 months.
  • All Teams will do Several events on day 1 and 2
  • Top 3 (Overall) will get a cash prize.
  • All team members have to be GCC resident or from an Arab country.
  • Photo ID is required during the check-in
  • Doping test will be applied for the top 3, and randomly during the competition.
  • Athletes Expect to do these Stuff: 
    1.⁠ ⁠Able to run, jump, bike without injury
    2.⁠ ⁠⁠Able to do hanging knee tucks, jumping pull-ups, burpee over bar, Wallwalk.
    3.⁠ ⁠⁠box jumps 20 inch/ box step ups/ wallball 10 lb/ single unders
    4.⁠ ⁠⁠walking lunges, picking up/ carrying objects, db snatch 22 lb.
    5.⁠ ⁠⁠Snatch 25 kg/ Clean and Jerk 30 kg/ Deadlift 55 kg, thruster 25 kg, Sand bag clean 30kg, Farmer Carry.
    6.⁠ ⁠⁠Athletes may be asked to find a max lift.
    7.⁠ ⁠⁠please note that the description above is not a comprehensive list of what movements to expect but a general guide to help athletes know what to expect.
    8.⁠ ⁠⁠there May movements tested that have never been practiced or attempted before, but we will keep it safe.

  • For the 9 rounds, one athlete has to finish full round before the second athlete start.
  • Each Athlete will have to do 3 rounds.

  • Each athlete will have 3 min to do 1 Rep Max Snatch
  • Athletes Can do any form of Snatch; Muscle Snatch, Power Snatch or Squat Snatch.
