About This Competition

Format

Same Sex Pairs (if you do not have a partner, you are welcome to sign up and we'll assign you a partner for the event).

3 workouts followed by 1 final.

One combined leaderboard that will work similar to the CrossFit open.

After the first 3 workouts the leaderboard will be split into two sections. The top 3-5 teams in each section will then take part in the section final.

Prizes

Cash prize for winners of each section.

Goodie bags for all podium spots in each section.

Workouts

Complete a 12 minute AMRAP of:
100/80 Cal Row
50 Synchro Deadlifts @ 80kg/60kg [scaled: 40kg/30kg]
Max Synchro Bar Over Burpees

Notes:
YGIG on the row, split however you like. Both team members must row at least 1 calorie. 1 cal = 1 rep.
Deadlifts must be synchro at the top of the lift with fully extended hips and knees. 1 synchro deadlift = 1 rep.
Burpees must be synchro at the bottom of the rep with thighs and chest on the ground at the same time. 1 synchro burpee = 1 rep.
Your score is your total reps completed in 12 minutes.
Minimum work requirement for prescribed is 10 completed synchro deadlifts.

Complete the following on a 15 minute rolling clock…

Part A, in a 10 minute time cap, complete 21-15-9 reps of:
Toes To Bar [scaled: Ab Mat Sit Ups]
Alternating Dumbbell Snatch @ 22.5kg/15kg [scaled: 15kg/10kg]
Box Jump Overs @ 24"/20" [scaled: Box Step Overs @ 24"/20"]

Part B, in the remaining time find a heavy:
1 Clean & Jerk

Notes:
Two scores, one for part A and one for part B.
As soon as you complete part A you can start part B.
Minimum work requirement for prescribed is 21 completed toes to bar.

Part A
Your score is the time taken to complete all the reps, if the time cap is reached before this time then your score will be the number of reps completed.
All synchro toes to bar, all team members toes must touch the bar at the same time for a rep to count. [All synchro sit ups, team members must touch the ground behind their head and then have their shoulders in front of their hips at the same time for a rep to count].
All synchro dumbbell snatches, the dumbbell must be above the head, with fully locked elbows, hips and knees, at the same time for the rep to count.
All synchro box jump overs, team members must be on top of the box (or in the air over the box if box clears are used) at the same time for the rep to count.

Part B
Your score is the combined total of both team members max lift.
Only one bar is permitted for use between team members.

For time, in an 8 minute time cap, complete:
10 Thrusters @ 40kg/30kg [scaled: 20kg/15kg]
2 Rope Climbs @ 15ft/13ft [scaled: Rope Pull From the Floor]
P1- 20/16 Cal Assault Bike
P2- 20 Overhead Squats @ 40kg/30kg [scaled: 20kg/15kg]
4 Rope Climbs @ 15ft/13ft [Rope Pull From the Floor]
P2- 20/16 Cal Assault Bike
P1- 20 Front Squats @ 60kg/40kg [scaled: 30kg/20kg]
2 Rope Climbs @ 15ft/13ft [scaled: Rope Pull From the Floor]
10 Thrusters @ 60kg/40kg [scaled: 30kg/20kg]

Notes:
Thrusters can be split however you like but each team member must complete least 1 thruster.
Rope climbs [rope pull from the floor] are you go I go.
The assault bike and squat variation in each section are completed simultaneously, while P1 completes a 20/16 cal assault bike, P2 is completing the squat variations.
The rope climbs can not be started until P1 and P2 have both completed their preceeding portion of work.
Each team is responsible for changing their own weight between overhead squats and front squats- this can be done at any point during the workout.
The minimum work requirement for prescribed is 2 rope climbs.
