Test Of Fitness - Season 2022

The Test Of Fitness Season 2022 kicks off with the  "Test Of Fitness - Same Sex Pairs" Event on Saturday the 29th of January!

The same sex pairs competition will bring a new category to the test of fitness "Intermediate".


Our aim is to provide a competition that is inclusive to all ages and abilities. We want to challenge your fitness through varied tests such as those seen at the CrossFit Games.

Our aim is to bring the CrossFit Games styled events to you at CrossFit FCF! they will be designed to test your fitness, Expose your weakness and challenge your mindset! 

Category description and movement requirements below.


Scaled - Athletes should be competent in the fundamentals of CrossFit movements. This category is a great option for the first time competitor, it will allow you to show case your hard work and challenge your fitness ability. high skilled olympic lifting and gymnastic skills are not required for this category.


scaled movement requirements:

6KG / 9KG Wall Ball

12KG / 16KG Kettle bell

10KG / 15KG Dumbbell 

25KG / 40KG Barbell (For Reps)

Competent in all CV Equipment over a range of distances 

Competent in the fundamental movements of CrossFit

Ring Rows (in exchange for pull-ups)

Knee Raises (in exchange for Toes to bar)


Intermediate - Seasoned athletes that have experienced CrossFit and the competition floor before. However, Have not yet mastered the high level skills associated with the "RX" Category such as heavy and high volume olympic lifts, Ring muscle ups, Bar muscle ups, Hand stand push ups and Hand stand walks etc.

Intermediate is the bridge for athletes who find themselves between the "Scaled" and "RX" category of movement standards. This is a great option for those athletes who are aiming to one day progress to the RX category.


Intermediate movement requirements:

6KG / 9KG Wall Ball

12KG / 16KG Kettle bell

10KG / 15KG Dumbbell 

25KG / 40KG Barbell (For Reps)

Competent in all CV Equipment over a range of distances 

Competent in the fundamental movements of CrossFit

Pull-ups in low volume

Toes to bar in low volume 


RX - Experienced athletes who are competent in all CrossFit movements associated with and seen in the CrossFit Open / Games. This category needs to be performed as prescribed. 


RX movement requirements:

6KG / 9KG Wall Ball

16KG / 24KG Kettle bell

15KG / 22.5KG Dumbbell 

Barbell (RX weights apply)

Competent in all CV Equipment over a range of distances 

Competent in the fundamental movements of CrossFit

Pull-ups (High volume)

Toes to bar (High volume)

Bar muscle ups 

Ring muscle ups 

Hand stand push ups 

Hand stand walks
