Are you ready for the new challenge?
Our exhilarating MEMAC (Middle East Max & Aegle Championship) is here and this year it's going to be bigger and better than before!
The championship is designed to deliver a dynamic functional fitness challenge to test endurance, technique and strength.
The 2020 format will see a series of qualifying rounds with entrant submissions adjudicated by a panel of judges to win the opportunity of competing in the MEMAC final on the 3rd & 4th of April.
There will be holding 4 qualifing events prior to the main event, released on a weekly basis:
31st January 2020
7th February 2020
14th February 2020
21st February 2020
You will have 1 week to upload each workout after the release date.
How MEMAC works, and how to enter:
> Registrations are open to men & women of all nationalities; this event accepts individual entries only.
> Registration for the qualifiers is FREE and can be done on this link. Participation in the final event will require a registration fee.
> To reach the MEMAC final event on the 3rd & 4th of April, participants will need to complete, and capture on video, all four weekly WODs created by Max & Aegle.
> Each of the WODs will be released on a specified date and will need to be completed & submitted, via the WODproof App then to Competition Corner website, in the week that follows.
> After a couple of weeks of judging, the top 30 Indivudual males and 30 Individual female participants who have made the cut for the final event will be announced via the Competition Corner website & by email.
> At the final event the entrants that make it through will compete against each other over a two day period; on Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th of April.
> Winners will then be selected after the last workout on the 4th of April.
> The winners will receive a cash prize and all participants will also be given a selection of Max & Aegle goodie bags and certificates for participating.
